Welcome Friends and Customers, Wow, it’s hard to believe that this is the 11th year to have our Bull Sale here at the farm! We knew when we moved the sale back home it was the “Right Choice” and over the years we truly hope that you our valued friends and customers like the format we have developed. This year’s offering is second to none even though you may not see the off the chart EPDs in our bulls, they are bred and developed to thrive and survive in this tough western environment! We appreciate our followers whether they need a bull every 5 years or 5 bulls every year! The cattle are summered on dry native grass and wintered, calved out on cornstalks and after feed. First calver’s included no babying. These girls here they have to work for us, and work they do! We expect each female exposed, to calve on her own , bring in a good calf and breed back in a 60 day period. They don’t do that, and they are down the road. Udder quality in our herd is second to none as we don’t have the time or patience to suckle calves. This year’s offering is packed with performance, maternal and that all important calving ease. Each bull in the offering is sired by bulls that have been DNA tested for Genomic enhanced EPDs. Next year’s sale, we are planning on Genomic testing each and every bull as we feel it will bring you our valued customers consistency and quality. There are Bulls to fit anyone’s needs – Red, Black, Homozygous Black and all are PAP tested to help our high altitude friends make bull buying decisions. The bulls are developed on a high roughage ration of ground alfalfa, silage, wet distillers and steam flaked corn to ensure their soundness and longevity. We stand behind these bulls. Once again we will have a representative from J9 Insurance available to help if you would like to insure your purchases for mortality and injury. We want to thank them again for donating a straw hat to be won in a drawing of all registered buyers and bidders! March 3rd, 2018 Viewing starts at 10:30 a.m. Lunch at High Noon The cattle will have a base price. A complete supplement sheet will be available on Sale Day. We hope this makes a relaxed enjoyable buying experience for you – our valued customers. • Health: The cattle have had all their vaccinations and will be semen tested and available for interstate shipment within the U.S. • Terms: Cash or cashable check on sale day unless other arrangements have been made with us. • Delivery: We will deliver your purchases at no cost to you within 250 miles. We will keep the bulls until April 1st, at no charge. Feed cost after April 1st will be $2.50/per day. We will deliver the bulls to you at an agreed upon time. The bulls will be cared for as if they were ours, but we cannot guarantee against sickness, injury, or death. • Transfers: Cattle with registration papers will be transferred to the new owner. • Guarantee: All bulls in the sale are guaranteed to be breeders if not allowed to run with the herd until at least 14 months of age, and if not subjected to gross negligence by the purchaser. • Liability: You attend the sale at your own risk and we will not be responsible for any accidents or injuries that might occur.
