Ms Playbook is another example of why I continue to breed my Gelbvieh and Balancer cows and heifers to the Angus AI sire TEX Playbook, who really knows how to make a good female. For example, 13J was came into this world weighing only 61 lbs., but going on to have the highest adjusted WW (672 lbs., 110 ratio) of all my 2021 heifer calves. She managed to accomplish this while nursing a Cyclone 7B first calf heifer.

Much like other TEX Playbook heifers I have retained for my own herd, 13J exhibits tremendous depth of body, good fleshing ability, and quiet disposition. She should make a great candidate for a youth project in the showring that will go on to have even more success in the pasture at the farm.
