We are excited to offer you this great example of our breeding program, BNW Granger 9126G. With the cattleman’s demand for a bull that best combines the essentials of growth and carcass merit, you also find a super functionally correct bull in BNW Granger. When we select a herd bull, we start from the ground up and this guy is a great example of that criteria. Granger is a moderate and well-balanced bull, and on top of this, he’s super stout built and travels on a very flexible skeleton.

One of the things we like about entering an older bull (April 2019) is that we know a lot more about him than we did as a calf. He has a BW ratio of 92, WW ratio of 111, YW ratio of 111, REA ratio of 101, and an IMF ratio of 124. Those numbers back up our expectations for him and his progeny, the first of which will be coming this Spring.

In addition, when you look at Granger’s pedigree, you will see that he combines some top sires from both the Gelbvieh and Angus herd-books (Sandman, 6I6, Hoover Dam, Krugerrand, Mitty in Focus, and 2106). Those genetics have resulted in a high quality and very predictable product.
