Fellow Cattle Enthusiasts, It’s hard to believe it’s been 15 years since one of the greatest cattlemen I’ve ever known sat at this same spot and wrote this sale welcome letter. A lot has changed since then, but many things have not. One of the things that has not and will not change is that cattle with the HYEK prefix have produced and continue to produce the most functional and productive Gelbvieh cattle in the industry! I am beyond blessed to be able to carry on the tradition that my father-inlaw Tony Hayek and his family started. As you study the offering you will still see the HYEK prefix in many off the bulls and females. This is undoubtedly one of the best group of cattle we have offered. We can talk about what the cattle markets are going to do until we are blue in the face and still not have a clue as to what will happen. But we know for sure the industry is always going to demand high quality, functional, and sound breeding cattle. This is exactly what you will find in our sale on March 4th.
