OUR LEADING EDGE APPROACH In 1997, DDG began as a small, civil engineering firm. From the very beginning, we believed that exceeding our clients’ expectations was the only way to achieve long-term success. In the 24 years since our founding, our unwavering commitment to client service excellence has allowed us to grow into a multidisciplinary regional firm with over 100 full-time employees and 6 offices across South Louisiana and Texas – Thibodaux (headquarters), Covington, Baton Rouge, New Orleans,

Lafayette, and Houston.

Originally offering services in civil engineering, we have methodically expanded our services to also include architecture, coastal and water resources engineering, landscape architecture, environmental and wetlands, and surveying. Through the hiring of key staff and strategic partnerships with specialty firms, DDG has proven the capability to deliver a wide range of services and support.

Duplantis Design Group (DDG) is a comprehensive surveying and design firm with six offices across Louisiana and Texas. DDG’s survey team has over 200 years of combined surveying experience and has safely and successfully completed surveying projects across the Gulf Coast region.

DDG continues to raise the bar by utilizing the latest and most efficient methods for collecting and staking data points for property and topographic surveys. We are committed to staying at the forefront of technology and have invested in the most knowledgeable and qualified employees, along with state-of-the-art technology in order to assure the highest caliber of service. This has allowed us to expand into other surveying areas, including hydrographic surveying, GPS surveying, singlebeam technology, multibeam technology and LiDAR (Light Detection And Ranging) acquisition. sUAS Integrating Small Unmanned Aerial Systems (sUAS) is one way DDG is raising the bar on data collection.

This rapidly evolving technology allows our team to safely collect large amounts of data in a fraction of the time. With our growing fleet of state-of-the-art drones equiped with survey-grade LiDAR and photogrammetry and the lastest processing software, DDG is able to customize client deliverables to satisfy any project.

Hydrographic At DDG, our surveyors have the capability to inspect underwater conditions & obstructions, and serve as an underwater set of eyes. Using gathered data, our professionals create detailed models, maps, and video graphics of channels, rivers, lakes, and bays. We use a variety of processes and resources in order to best address the scope of your project. This versatility allows us to meet the needs of any job, large or small.

3D Terrestrial Surveying DDG has invested in the latest LiDAR technology to continue to set the standard for surveying.

Our highly advanced systems allow us to collect vast amounts of data in a short period of time with minimal effort, resulting in an accurate survey in the fraction of the time. Our highly trained professionals work hard to provide clear and defined High Definition Surveys, be it structure or project site. We help support large construction sites, oil and gas exploration and resource production, as well as tax assessment, boundary and topographic information.
