A N N O . 2 0 G U C C I I developed this project for a Visual Design Internship at Gucci. As part of the second selection step and shortly after the launch of the S/S 20 collection, I was asked to develop a visual concept of a store window by highlighting my creative abilities and aesthetic s e n s i b i l i t y, a n d t h a t i s h o w A N N O . 2 0 w a s b o r n .

Gucci Orgasmic was the title of this particular collection; honest criticism to every form of oppression, aestethic revolution triggered by shameless seduction.

The main inspirations are the S/S 2020 collection, B r u t a l i s t a r q u i t e c t u r e a n d T h e M o b 1, a n u n d e r g r o u n d fashion movement born in East Berlin under the r e s t r i c t i o n s o f t h e G D R d u r i n g t h e 7 0 - 8 0 ’s .

The window proposal is very clean and aseptic. It should give the idea of a capsule that has been catapulted into the store, where the humanoid figure inside is completely deprivaded or purfied of any p r u d e r y.

T h e a p a r t m e n t ’s r e t r o f u t u r i s t i c v i b e r e f l e c t s t h e n o s t a l g i c s p i r i t o f P r o - Ta s t e r s , b e i n g a l s o o n e o f t h e strongest trends of the year; we also incorporated practic architectural elements and a sober but e n e r g e t i c c o l o r p a l e t t e a d d i n g t h e b r a n d ’s D N A .

The space has been distributed according the amount energy of the target activities and rituals in every environment. Although the spaces do not fully comply with conventional activities, the higher amount of energy is located in the public areas and the lowest in the bathroom, lavatory and bedroom.

The key assets of the brief launched by Cappellini were the definition of a millennial target, in this case 3 5 - 4 0 y e a r s o l d p e o p l e ( P r o - Ta s t e r s ) , a n d e m b r a c i n g the state of Art of European Design in 2019.

L E S E C H É C S A L E S S I As part of my training process at LPWK, I had the chance of participating independently in the Object Bijoux - Alessi Workshop, usually held in Universities around the world.

The brief consisted in chosing an object among a given list of small and usually precious objects, from which I picked a clutch, and creating a concept that represented the identity of the brand.

Les Echécs was an experimental attemp to inject a playful spirit into an accesory that is very often conservative. It clearly takes inspiration from a classic chess box in which the figures are impersonated by the m o s t i c o n i c o f A l e s s i ’s c h a r a c t e r s t h a t c a n b e a d d e d and moved as magnets. Its core material is steel with a variaty of finishes and the interior linning is made of classic italian velvet.

E L E C T R O P A N T S Electropants was a project developed at Politecnico di Milano in collaboration with the Biomedical Engineering Department with my fellow colloague Eliana Martone.

It is a product-system composed of a wearable device for muscular activity monitoring, which provides an immidiate and interactive Light Feedback and an integrated Data Management Software.

Electropants is meant to allow high-performance athletes to improve their performance or help on p a t i e n t ’s r e h a b i l i t a t i o n .

Electropants represented in 2016 the Polictenico di Milano at 6th EAI International Conference MobiHealth - wireless mobile communication and healthcare, an international space for scientific discussion on healthcare through innovations in mobile a n d w i r e l e s s t e c h n o l o g i e s ​.

C O R P O R AT E This was one of the first projects I did for a private client.

I designed the corporate ID for an independent writer including logo, business cards and other stationery materials.

The aesthetic inspiration comes from the inside cover of ancient books that used marbled paper of Florence a s e n d p a p e r 1, t o g e t h e r w i t h a c o n t e m p o r a r y t o u c h t o e m p h a s i z e t h e i d e n t i t y o f t h e c u s t o m e r.

E T H I C I N T E N T Ethic Intent is an Italian-Japanese start-up that helps companies to improve or create strategies of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). I was commissioned by them to create the communication material for their vision, mission, action plan as well as their business cards.

The clients had two specific requests for the graphic and chromatic inspiration of the project: The first one was to use the hexagon as a semiotic trait making reference to nature. The second one was to incorporate the work of Piero della Fransceca on the color research, from which we chose a particular a fresco1 that was a direct source of inspiration to create color harmony and balance.

I have worked as a Visual Design / Merchandising I n t e r n a t Ve r s a c e w h e re I g a i n e d k n o w l e d g e o f t h e operation of the industry and channeled my passion for Fashion Design.

I have also worked beside Laura Polinoro (LPWK) and Nuala Goodman in the creation of Product Design projects for Alessi, Purho murano, Seletti among others; and within the curation and graphics of International art exhibitions.
