DCHFA seeks opportunities to impact the community beyond its traditional role as a financier of affordable housing. The Agency shares its resources, and employees share their time beyond the Agency’s mission, through its support of activities for seniors, educational enrichment opportunities for youth, and the arts .

During FY 2019, DCHFA supported, sponsored and/or partnered with 36 community organizations and individuals .
