Premier League Primary Stars is a national curriculum-linked education programme using the appeal of the Premier League and professional football clubs to inspire children to learn, be active and develop important life skills.

Matchday Maths uses a similar method to engage learners, by emphasising the importance of Maths in everyday life, specifically through the lens of football by looking at timings of games, scores, shirt numbers and much more.

In partnership with the Premier League, we work with schools to deliver fun, educational sessions across a range of programmes. We are excited to share information about the programmes available, at a subsidised price, through the enhanced and bolt on sections of our affiliation.

Resilient Rammie is our flagship PSHE programme which helps pupils to improve their confidence and self-esteem, deal with worries and setbacks and learn about how to express their emotions.

Our range of programme cover core curriculum subjects, including Literacy, Maths and PSHE, along with opportunities for pupils to take part in social action projects, designed to encourage them to think about how to make a difference in their local communities. Our popular Reading and Writing Stars programmes are delivered across a term to learners who may not engage with traditional reading material or writing activity, and instead may respond to using football as a tool for learning - looking at alternative ways to spark their interest, through matchday programmes or match reports, for example.

Through the social action strand of Primary Stars, we also work with schools around key awareness initiatives to improve understanding around important topics, including racism and bullying. We also offer World Book Day activities each year. We’re excited to fully launch our Black, White and Green programme for the 2022/23 academic year, which will centre around sustainability and environment, giving pupils the chance to learn about how important the natural world is, and giving them the opportunity to grow and cultivate trees at the Young People’s Forest. All our Primary Stars projects are explained in further detail later in this booklet.

Premier League values underpin everything on offer, encouraging children to: •

Be ambitious: Work hard and never give up

•

Be inspiring: Set a great example to others

•

Be connected: Work well with others and in a team

•

Be fair: Treat people equally and think of others
