We are an inclusive Sixth Form, offering both A-Level pathway and vocational BTEC programmes, or as appropriate, a blended mix.
DBSEH student Michael Parker has been recognised as a globally outstanding learner for his exceptional approach to BTEC IT study in our Sixth Form last year having been awarded a Pearson Learner of the Year Silver Award. Michael’s extensive understanding of IT concepts and their practical application together with his extraordinary extracurricular accomplishments in this area caused him to stand out against his peers following the same course around the world.

Students in our care are encouraged to gain additional experience through engagement in programmes such as: Duke of Edinburgh Research- based learning opportunities LAMDA Qualification Prefect and Peer Mentor Programme Model United Nations TedX talks VESPA: Vision, Effort, Systems, Practice, Attitude
Our Duke of Edinburgh award participants complete their expedition elements both at home and overseas, either in the grueling UAE desert, or abroad including locations such as Nepal and more recently, Sri Lanka.

Our commitment to small cohort sizes ensure Sixth Form students receive personalised, bespoke advice and guidance relating to their subject choices at and beyond DBSEH, and develop professional, academic and domestic skills. Provision of careers education, information and guidance continues to expand at DBSEH. Our dedicated, full-time Careers Counsellor, Ian Barfoot and Head of Sixth Form, Emma Pennock understand our Sixth Formers' individual needs and interests and provide expert guidance on how to get our students precisely where they want to be.
Students will be afforded greater opportunities to engage with the workplace, higher education and employers than ever before at DBSEH, as students over the age of 15 are legally allowed to work part-time in the UAE.

Through our Sixth Form ECA programme we inspire, nurture and refine students' interests, skills and talents in a rich range of areas including, but not limited to, leadership, entrepreneurship, and furthering academic pursuits.
We are proud to have been awarded the Outstanding rating by DSIB as well as British Schools Overseas since 2017 and truly believe that students live our mission to ‘Enjoy, Aspire and Achieve’. We recognize the importance of personalised learning, empowering every student in our care to aim high and reach their academic potential, in a supportive, community-based environment.
