Cast Bios

Ashtyn Graham - Senior (Villian & Suzette): This is Ashtyn’s fourth show overall with BHS and her third time being in the cast! She’s been super excited to put on this show for everyone, and has put in a lot of effort! She hopes you can sit back and enjoy Almost Maine!

Emily Van Kell - Junior (Gayle): This is Emily’s 5th show here at Belvidere High School! She is super excited to play this roller coaster of a role. She wants to say, “THANK YOU, MOM!” Other than that she hopes you enjoy the show!

JT Gordon - Junior (Lendall): Almost Maine is JT’s second show at BHS. He is very excited to see everyone’s hard work pay off and is happy the audience gets to witness this amazing show about romance.

Meagan McVey - Senior (Marvalyn): This is Meagan’s 4th year in the BHS theatre program and her 5th show at BHS. She loves being able to play Marvalyn alongside Roberto (Steve) even through the awkward rehearsals. She’d like to thank everyone in the cast, crew, and Mainely (Maine lol) her friends for helping through this stressful time in between Airness and The Wedding Singer. She hopes you all LOVE (haha get it) the show.

Sophia Adams - Senior (Deena): This will be Sophia’s fifth show at Belvidere High School and they have loved the experience so far. As a Senior, Sophia has watched everyone grow as well as herself and is super excited to put on such a lovely show. Almost Maine is filled with awkward, cute, and sentimental moments and Sophia hopes you enjoy every minute of it.

Eb Scimeca - Senior (Sheila): Almost Maine is her 7th performance at BHS and a favorite! They are so excited to preform this heartfelt production and you all FALL in love with this show too!

Matt Turnipseed - Junior (East and Phil): This will be Matt’s second play and is very excited to be in Almost Maine. and loves everybody in the cast and can’t wait to work with them again

Emma Cordray - Senior (Hope): This is her 10th show at BHS, and 21st show overall. She is very excited to see everyone’s work on the show! Also she can’t wait for you to watch and enjoy the show! Hope(haha) you enjoy the show!

Joslyn Cnota - Freshman (Glory): Joslyn is so excited to be involved in her very first show at BHS! She’d like to thank her family for always supporting her, but especially her mom for being her personal momager. She hopes you enjoy the show!

Bea Clement - Sophomore (Jimmy): This is Bea’s 2nd show of the year and 5th show at BHS, Bea is so excited to show you all the fun, awkward, silly moments of Almost, Maine. Enjoy the show!

Roberto Ochoa - Freshman (Steve and Daniel): It all started on February 16th. Roberto THOUGHT he’d be able to go back home and chill. Little did he know that he’d be sentenced 3 days… FOR LOVE! Now with a role in Almost, Maine, what totally GOOFY shenanigans will he get up to? Watch till the end to find out! Gabriel Yates - Sophomore (Pete): This is Gabriel’s fifth show at Belvidere High School. He is super excited to perform this show alongside this wonderful cast and crew, and he would like to thank all of his friends and family for all of their support. He hopes you enjoy the show!

Sheyann Carpenter - Junior (Ginette): This is Sheyann’s sixth show at BHS. She is so excited to show you the wonders of a little town called Almost, Maine and the northern lights to follow! She would like to thank everyone who has supported her throughout her journey and with more adventures to come soon! Now it is time to enter Almost, Maine and meet some interesting people with their little stories along the way! Enjoy the show!

Angie Rodriguez - Sophomore (Sandrine): Angie made her theatre debut last year in “One Stoplight Town”, and has enjoyed seeing how far they’ve come in this program. When they’re not killing it on the stage, they like to take long walks on the beach or taking in the view of the northern skyline. An admirer of the world, one can say. Enjoy the show!

Paige Niemiec - Sophomore (Marci): “Almost, Maine” is Paige’s fifth show at BHS, if she didn’t count wrong that is. She’s excited for this show to be one of the first shows where she has more than a couple of lines, with the exception of the understudy role as Sprite Executive for “Airness” (BHS’s previous play). Paige would like to thank the rest of the cast for being so welcoming and her family for supporting her.

Noah Cresson - Senior (House Manager): This is Noah’s 5th show since sophomore year. He’s excited to put on another show. He hopes you get some laughs from the show. Enjoy!

Technical Crew Biographies

Addison Walker - Sophomore (Run Crew): Addison has been doing theatre for 5 years and loves tech and acting. She will be a part of the running crew for Almost, Maine. Addison will be in the ensemble for BHS’s musical, The Wedding Singer this spring.

Phoenix Brosman - Senior (Run Crew): Almost, Maine is Phoenix’s first ever play that he is working and being a part of during his time at Belvidere. He hopes you all enjoy the show!

Johanna Miralrio - Junior (Run Crew): This is Johanna’s third show with BHS and she is happy to participate in Almost, Maine.

Hailey Hughart - Sophomore (Property Master): This is her 4th show with BHS. And her 11th show in all. She wants you to have a great show. Also, she wants to let you know that she is so happy you came to watch the show!

Michaela McClain-Smith - Sophmore (Property Master [Mawhahaha]): This is Michaela’s 7th show and first show in tech! She is so happy to be a part of the crew! We hope you LOVE the show! Enjoy the show!

Sophie Leese - Senior (Assistant Stage Manager): This is Sophie’s sixth show here at BHS and they are so excited to be a part of such a lovely show. They would like to thank their family, friends, and fellow Stage Managers, Ethan and Gabe, for supporting them and making this show so much fun. They hope you love the show!

Ethan Savage - Senior (Stage Manager & Light Designer): This being one of their last shows. They are very excited to be apart of the crew. Let alone be the freaking SM. This experience has been so crazy and would love to thank Miracle for helping them out so much.

Jordan King - Junior (Run Crew): This is Jordan’s 3rd show at BHS. If you don’t see him in the scene shop, he must be on the baseball diamond with BHS’s Varsity Baseball team. Jordan would like to think Chris, Dylan, Gabe I., Sophie, Daire, and Ethan for helping make the show possible.

Colton Vanfleet - Junior (Run Crew): Colton is very excited to help in the production of Almost, Maine. Miracle would thank Colton for fixing the PAC cameras! He hopes you enjoy the show!

Gabe Inniss - Junior (Assistant Stage Manager): Gabe has been a part of many theatre productions at BHS. If do not see Gabe in the theatre, you might find him in the band room.
