LETTER FROM THE ATHLETIC DIRECTOR

Welcome to Hononegah Community High School

The 2021-2022 school year should be an exciting one for our student athletes. Each of them has put forth their best effort to be the best that they can be in their respective sport or activity. All of us can be proud of the efforts that our young people and the Hononegah coaching staff put forth each year. It is through their hard work and dedication that Hononegah continues to be recognized as an area leader in academics and athletics. The success of our teams and its members is a partnership between the players, coaches, parents, and community. Last year Hononegah won the NIC-10 Conference All Sports Trophy for the 14th time in the last 17 years. A great accomplishment that was achieved by everyone involved. Our goal is to be the best and to be successful at the highest level, while displaying good sportsmanship. This is accomplished through a wonderful community wide effort. A major part of our success is the Hononegah Booster Club, which provides many of the items that allow our teams and clubs to successful. This is a special group of people who volunteer countless hours for our students. Please consider joining the Booster Club this year so that we can continue to offer the high quality programs that make Hononegah Community High School special. Meetings are held the first Monday of each month in room #1203 and begin at 7:00 PM. Please consider attending to help us continue to be the best. The Athletic Department looks forward to helping all of our students make a positive contribution while they are a member of a team or club. All of our students have something to offer our school and together we can make a positive difference in our community.
