Town Seeks Public Input on Surf Club Master Plan By Aaron Rubin Staff Writer

The Town of Madison has entered a “listening period” to gather more public input that will help shape the recommended changes in the proposed Surf Club Master Plan, said First Selectwoman Peggy Lyons. She said the town has completed the “first

step” in the process of learning from its consultants, Kent + Frost, about potential structural alterations, additions, and removals at the Surf Club, all of which are being considered as concepts for a final plan. Those concepts were presented by the consultant during a public forum on June 10. Lyons said the town is “hoping by the end of the summer” to gather enough public feed-

back to inform a “concept plan that we all agree we want to move forward with,” after which cost estimates, project phasing, and other aspects of the plan can be developed.
