Welcome to Clinton
Clinton offers a whole host of activities that will get the entire family moving. The community calendar is full of events and festivals that attract residents and visitors of all ages throughout the year. This year, we feature the fourth annual Clinton International Food & Beer Festival on July 11th behind the Andrews Memorial Town Hall. Music lovers can enjoy our Thursday evening Michael B. Ierardi Jr. Memorial Fund Summer Concert series at the Vece Gazebo. The concerts start at 6:30 p.m. and run from July 10th through August 7th. For those that enjoy a good old fashioned community celebration, our two biggest events are the Clinton Summerfest, on August 23rd, which ends with a huge fireworks show and our Christmas in Clinton Celebration on December 7th. The unique spirit of this blossoming and vibrant community makes it an irresistible place to live or visit.
In addition to our big events, Clinton has much to offer. From the town beaches to the two large recreational complexes, there is a wide variety of outdoor activities. The Henry Carter Hull Library offers much more than books with its many programs for kids and adults. The Liberty Green Historic District invites you to walk back in time with stops at Old Brick (Clinton Historical Society) and the Adam Stanton House & Museum.
Clinton’s natural harbor is fed by three rivers coming to join Long Island Sound behind the shelter of Cedar Island. Visit any of our many marinas for a beautiful view of the water. Rent a paddleboard or kayak and
explore the harbor. Go fishing in the tidal waters, or just soak up some sun.
If you need a way to get to any of these wonderful locations or any of our many restaurants and shops, the Clinton Trolley is available from Thursday to Sunday from Memorial Day through Labor Day. The old style trolley runs from Hammonasset State Park to the Clinton Marina area, to downtown and through Clinton along Route 1. Rides are free!

Built in 1791, the Adam Stanton museum is an historic house of national importance. Having never left the Stanton family, the house retains its original furnishings and is a true time capsule in the way few such museums are. It’s architecturally exceptional, notable for its large scale and the presence of an authentic 18th century general store. It also boasts 11 fireplaces, one smoke oven and a lot of interesting tales! It was left in Trust by it’s Heirs with the request it remain open to the public for educational purposes. It became a nonprofit 501(c)(3) in 2017

He has a remarkable service history, having served in the U.S. Army’s 26th Infantry Scout Dog Platoon and later as a Financial Counselor for Connecticut’s Army and Air Force National Guard. Outside of real estate, Ernie has a passion for cars and was a first-place winner driving his 1971 E-Type Coupe, D Class for the Jaguar Club of Southern New England, participating in Lime Rock and Thompson Racetracks races. When he’s not assisting clients, you can find Ernie skiing, playing tennis, spending time with his family. We’re thrilled to have him on board!
