Hello Reader,

As I look back on my journey as a girl entering the club for the first time and now, writing The Final Year Message, I feel a bit overwhelmed. This place made me feel "at home" and as welcomed as every time I entered the club. My first day was full of admiration for the final year for the persona they own. From hesitating to going to the club fearing seniority to finding friends with whom everything felt fine and good, I know this bond is for a lifetime. My seniors, whom I could always call and look up to with no hesitation, became my mentors for life. The second year, where I met the most beautiful juniors of mine. My college life is incomplete without them, from being their mere senior to this day when my heart aches at the thought of not meeting them daily. This club has given me this beautiful family. My first-year juniors, the time spent with you was quite less but very vibrant. I wish we could make even more memories together in the meantime, and I hope, as time goes by, you make the bond with this family even stronger.

Hello everyone!

As I stand on the threshold of my graduation, a wave of memories of the Day Scholars' Club washes over me, reminding me that now what's left are my last days. It feels like just yesterday that I was a nervous fresher, eager to step foot in this new journey called 'College Life’. Day Scholars' Club has always been more than just a place; it's been a family. I remember countless afternoons spent brainstorming for events, practicing for competitions, and simply unwinding with friends after a long day of lectures. As I prepare to embark on a new chapter in my life, I carry with me the lessons I have learned and the friendships I have forged in this club. My advice for the new members is to embrace every opportunity that comes your way, to challenge yourselves, and to never lose sight of the values that define this club: cooperation, friendship, and goodwill. Best wishes to my dear juniors and the future members... Adios!!

Hey juniors,

Time has flown by so quickly that it feels like it was just yesterday when I first stepped foot in this magnificent place. I was particularly intrigued by this 'club,' only to discover it was an isolated, run-down building (that might as well be haunted with green, rusty walls and a neglected 'dabbe wala tv' that lay abandoned in a corner). That shock eventually transformed into a sense of belonging, to the point that I missed those green walls, which had been an eyesore when they were eventually painted yellow. I met some of the best seniors as well as juniors in this building; it was these people who made it feel like 'home,' and I formed lasting friendships with those who always stood by me through thick and thin. Through this place, I have grown and learned from my seniors, batchmates, and juniors as well. As my time to bid farewell to this home draws nearer, my heart can't help but feel heavy. I hope my juniors will continue the legacy and learn and grow significantly along the way. Wishing you all the very best on your upcoming journey. If you ever encounter a problem, I am just a call away. ;)

Warm regards.

My heart is full of memories right now. Memories of laughter, teamwork, and friendship, all thanks to this club. I'm thinking of everyone—my batchmates, the seniors who guided me, and the juniors I watched grow. For those of you just starting, please listen: This is just a club; it's a place where you'll find yourself. You'll learn things you didn't even know you needed to know. You'll make mistakes, and you'll learn from them. You'll find people who understand you, who become your family. Don't just go through the motions. Get involved in everything. Let the seniors help you. They're here to share their wisdom. Make those bonds strong. Because years from now, when you look back, you'll see how much you've changed, how much you've grown, and how much love you found here. Carry on the spirit of this club. Make it a place where everyone feels at home. Thank you!

They say college is where you find yourself. For me, it was the Day Scholars' Club where I found my family. Stepping into this club as a wide-eyed freshman, I had no idea the impact it would have on my B.Tech. journey. Four years later, as I prepare to graduate, I can confidently say it was the best decision I ever made. From the first club introduction to the friendships I built and the events we coordinated, everything has left a mark on my heart.

As I prepare to leave, I feel a mix of nostalgia and gratitude, but all I want to admit is that this isn't just a club; it is a home. It was where I found my passion, my purpose, and my family. And as I step into the next chapter of my life, I know that the bonds I've forged here will stay with me forever. I'm grateful for the opportunities, the experiences, and the friendships that have shaped me.

Digital India The Timeless Connection

The “Digital India” campaign was launched by the Government of India to uplift the usage of technology in India. The objective was to make government services easily available to the citizens electronically by improving online infrastructure all over the country. The process was structured to increase internet connectivity to make the country digitally empowered. It helps to reach out to the masses and encourages them to use technology in their daily lives.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the campaign on July 1, 2015. The initiative aims to connecting rural India through high-speed internet connectivity. There are three components at the core of the “Digital India” campaign-

Creation of Digital Infrastructure: To deploy various digital services across the country, it is necessary to create a strong digital infrastructure, especially in rural areas of the country. Many interior regions of the country either have very little or mostly do not have any electronic network. This is the reason behind establishing a digital network across the country. The Bharat Broadband Network Limited, the governmental body responsible for the execution of the National Optical Fiber Network project, also responsible for the Digital India project as well. Bharat Net aims to connect 2,50,500 gram panchayats across the country to a high-speed internet network via an optical fiber network. 4,00,000 internet points will be established all across the country as part of the program, from which anybody will be able to access the internet.

Delivery of Digital Services: A major component of the Digital India campaign is to deliver government services and other essential services digitally. It is easier to change the way of delivering services from physical to digital. Many services of the Government of India were digitized under the Digital India Campaign. All ministries would be linked under this scheme, and all departments will be able to reach out to the people with fundamental services like health care, banking, education, scholarships, gas cylinders, water and electricity bills, and judicial services. The daily monetary transactions of people were also converted into digital mode. To ensure transparency in the transactions and limit corruption all the money transactions are being made online, and are supported by one-time passwords.

Digital Literacy: For full participation of the people of India, the competency that they need to have is called Digital Literacy.

A digitally connected India is aimed at the growth of the social and economic status of the masses in the country. The development of non-agricultural economic activities could pave the path for such an achievement, for providing access to financial services, health, and education. Information and Communication Technology alone cannot directly impact the overall development of a country. Basic digital infrastructure could help achieve overall development. Overall it will be a very profitable approach because it relieves the burden of spending time on paperwork and allows people to dedicate their time to other aspects of government. It is extremely efficient and beneficial for government employees who operate on a big scale.

The Essence of Military Leadership

Leadership is the backbone of any successful endeavor, whether on the battlefield or in everyday life. True leadership is not about authority but about responsibility, courage, and integrity. A great leader is someone who continuously hones their skills, remains adaptable in the face of challenges, and inspires those around them through actions rather than words. In both military and civilian life, the ability to make decisions under pressure, communicate effectively, and uphold strong ethical values defines the strength of leadership. One of the most crucial aspects of leadership is professional competence. Without a deep understanding of one’s domain, a leader cannot make informed decisions. Whether it is a soldier preparing for war or an individual navigating personal and professional challenges, continuous learning and skill mastery are essential. Alongside competence, courage plays a defining role in leadership. True leaders are not afraid to take decisive actions, even when faced with criticism or uncertainty. They do not hesitate when the moment demands a firm stand, as hesitation can lead to failure.

Leadership also demands unwavering loyalty and responsibility. A leader is accountable not only for their own actions but for the wellbeing and success of their team. They do not shift blame but instead take ownership of failures while ensuring that every success is shared. Loyalty extends beyond personal gain—it is a commitment to a cause, a mission, or the people one leads. With this responsibility comes the need for clear and effective communication. A leader must inspire confidence, provides direction, and ensures that every individual understands their role in the larger vision. Words have the power to motivate or demoralize, and a true leader knows how to use them

Integrity is at the heart of leadership. The best leaders lead by example, setting high standards of discipline, honesty, and dedication. They do not expect others to follow rules they themselves do not abide by. Whether in a military unit, a workplace, or personal life, leadership is about earning respect through actions, not demanding it through authority. This kind of leadership fosters a sense of trust and unity, making individuals feel valued and motivated to contribute their best. Beyond structured environments, military leadership principles apply to everyday situations as well. Life is unpredictable, and resilience is key to overcoming obstacles. The ability to stay composed under pressure, think strategically, and adapt to changing circumstances determines success in both personal and professional spheres. Effective leadership also recognizes the importance of teamwork. No victory is achieved alone, and understanding how to work collaboratively, uplift others, and create a strong support system is essential.

The Stranger in the Mirror A Walking Paradox

What if I told you that the person you think you are… is a lie? Not a deliberate deception, but a carefully constructed illusion—woven from the names you were given, the stories you were told, the expectations you learned to obey. Before you could even think for yourself, the world had already decided who you were. But if no one had ever told you your name, your past, or your place in society—who would you be?

You believe you are you, but how much of that belief is truly yours? Your fears, your desires, your dreams—are they the echoes of your own soul, or have they been planted in you by others? Philosophers like Hume claimed there is no permanent self, only a stream of experiences. If your memories were erased, would you still be you? Or would you become someone else entirely?

This is not a crisis—it is liberation. If identity is an illusion, then you are not bound by it. You are not a name, not a past, not a fixed idea. You are movement, change, and possibility. The moment you stop asking “ Who am I?” and start asking “ Who can I become?”, you step beyond the illusion.

So the next time you look in the mirror, ask yourself—are you seeing you?

Or just a stranger you've been taught to believe in?

Hinduism and Vedic Science The Timeless Connection

Hinduism, often referred to as Sanatana Dharma (eternal law), is one of the world’s oldest spiritual traditions. Its teachings are vast and profound, addressing the nature of existence, the purpose of life, and the interplay between the material and spiritual realms. Central to Hinduism is the wisdom of the Vedas, ancient texts that not only form the bedrock of its religious philosophy but also lay the foundation for what we now call Vedic science.

Its core principles are grounded in the pursuit of selfrealization and universal harmony. Key concepts include Brahman, Atman, Karma, Dharma and Moksha. Vedic science represents the scientific and empirical knowledge embedded in the Vedas. It integrates spirituality, philosophy, and natural sciences, presenting a holistic approach to understanding the universe. Some of its key domains include:

1) Astronomy and Mathematics: The Vedic texts contain precise calculations of planetary movements, eclipses, and cosmic cycles. For instance, the Surya Siddhanta provides advanced astronomical insights, including the duration of a year and the distance between celestial bodies.

Brahmagupta was great astronomer as well as mathematician who developed the earliest known methods for using zero within calculations, treating it as a number for the first time. The use of zero is inscribed on the walls of the Chaturbhuj temple in Gwalior.

2) Ayurveda (The Science of Life): Ayurveda, rooted in the Atharvaveda, is one of the world’s oldest systems of medicine.

Sushruta Samhita is one of the most important ancient texts on medicine and surgery in Ayurveda. Written by Acharya Sushruta, it primarily focuses on surgery (Shalya Tantra) and is often considered the foundation of Indian surgery.

3) Yoga and Meditation: In Vedic literature, yoga is defined as a discipline or practice that leads to unity and connection with the divine. The term ‘yoga’ itself derives from the Sanskrit word yuj which means to yoke or unite.

Saving the Sparrows In The Cities

One Nest at a Time

If you ask a child today about the house sparrow, they may know that this bird exists, but they probably haven’t seen it,” says environmentalist and documentary filmmaker Rakesh Khatri.

Growing up in the back streets of Agra and Old Delhi in India, sparrows were an important part of his life. Khatri and his friends would lay out scraps of wool and rags sprinkled with wheat seeds to provide food for the sparrows. Later, these bylanes, and sadly their birds, became a thing of the past when Khatri moved to Ashok Vihar, another place in New Delhi.

The population of the house sparrow (Passer domesticus) has been declining at an alarming rate in India, especially since the late 1990s. It is disturbing to see a bird that has dominated our lives and culture disappearing.

“A healthy population of these birds has disappeared in urban areas due to habitat problems. With their disappearance, their ecological role has also disappeared,” said Sudipto Chatterjee, Associate Professor, The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI) School of Advanced Studies.

“The ecological importance of the sparrow is related to the vegetation cover of an area as it reflects the native and historical vegetation of the region. This bird needs various native vegetation species, including numerous wildflowers, shrubs, and trees, to feed on,” explains Vivek Saxena, Country Representative, IUCN-India.

The reasons for the sparrow population decline are habitat loss due to rapid urbanisation, diminishing ecological resources for subsistence, heavy pollution, and emissions from microwave towers. “Fans in houses have been replaced by air conditioners, and trees have been replaced by ornamental plants and decorative flowering shrubs in parks, making it impossible for the bird to build nests,” explains Khatri.

Another reason is displacement by other bird species. “The threat is the introduction of other bird species such as pigeons, which reproduce faster and have a more general need to survive. As pigeons have invaded the sparrow landscape as an invasive species, competition for resources has increased, pushing the sparrows into degraded and ecologically under-structured regions of their natural habitat,” Saxena explains.

In the face of these challenges, raising public awareness and engagement is a crucial step in protecting the sparrow. Educating the public about the ecological importance of the house sparrow and the importance of conserving native vegetation can play a crucial role. Initiatives such as Rakesh Khatri's efforts to create nesting sites show the practical steps that individuals can take to conserve these avian companions.

Furthermore, promoting responsible urban planning that incorporates bird-friendly infrastructure such as nesting sites can pave the way for harmonious coexistence between humans and house sparrows. This collective effort, coupled with the younger generation's sense of responsibility for the environment, is the key to a sustainable future for both urban development and biodiversity.

In summary, the challenges facing house sparrows highlight the need for proactive action and community engagement. By understanding the reasons for their decline and implementing practical solutions, we can work towards ensuring that the melodious presence of house sparrows continues to enrich our urban landscape.

Unleashing Your Inner Radiance The Elegance of Fitness

When it comes to fitness, it's not just about breaking a sweat or getting the perfect abs; it's a transformative journey that ignites our inner radiance and leaves us feeling elegant and empowered. By integrating wellness into our daily routine, we can attain a state of harmony and grace that goes far beyond physical appearance alone. So, let's explore the path to a more refined and sophisticated fitness experience, culminating in the perfect ending that will leave you feeling truly fulfilled.

Setting the Stage: The Art of Mindful Movement

Fitness is an art form that demands mindful movement. Rather than simply going through the motions, let's embrace each exercise with purpose and intention. Whether it's yoga, Pilates, or a dance class, treat each session as a graceful dance, where every movement is an opportunity to express yourself and find harmony within your body. By focusing on form, breathing, and the sensations that arise, you can elevate your fitness journey to a level of true elegance. The Finishing Touches: Savoury Nutrition and Restful Serenity

As the symphony nears its crescendo, it's crucial to add the finishing touches that will shape your perfect ending. Proper nutrition fuels not only your body but also your sense of vitality and allure. Choose nutrient-rich foods that nourish and sustain, pairing them with flavours that enliven your taste buds. Equally important is embracing the serenity of restful slumber. Allow yourself to surrender to the gentle embrace of a tranquil night's sleep, ensuring your body can recharge and rejuvenate. The quality of your rest will be reflected in your graceful presence, adding the final brushstroke to your elegant fitness masterpiece. The Grand Finale: Embracing Inner Radiance

As your fitness journey matures, you will discover that the true beauty lies within... within your confidence, resilience, and selfacceptance. Your transformation from a fitness novice to a classy aficionado comes not from attaining a specific physical ideal but rather from embracing the radiant aura that emanates from a healthy mind, body, and spirit.

So, my dear companion on this elegant voyage, embrace fitness not as a means to an end, but as a lifelong journey of self-discovery and refinement. With each mindful movement, each act of self-care, and every nourishing choice, you will unlock the hidden treasures within yourself and channel your inner radiance with the utmost grace.

In this final act of the fitness symphony, as the curtain falls, know that you have reached the perfect ending. A chapter of elegance and poise that extends beyond the realm of mere fitness. You have unveiled the beauty within, and it shines like a beacon for all to see.

The Future of Innovation

Artificial intelligence (AI) is a wide-ranging tool that enables people to rethink how we integrate information, analyze data, and use the resulting insights to improve decision making and already it is transforming every walk of life.

Qualities of AI :-

Intentionality

Artificial intelligence algorithms are designed to make decisions, often using real-time data. They are unlike passive machines that are capable only of mechanical or predetermined responses. Using sensors, digital data, or remote inputs, they combine information from a variety of different sources, analyze the material instantly, and act on the insights derived from those data. With massive improvements in storage systems, processing speeds, and analytic technique.

Intelligence

AI generally is undertaken in conjunction with machine learning and data analytics. Machine learning takes data and looks for underlying trends. If it spots something that is relevant for a practical problem, software designers can take that knowledge and use it to analyze specific issues. Data can come in the form of digital information, satellite imagery, visual information, text, or unstructured data.

Adaptability

AI systems have the ability to learn and adapt as they make decisions. In the transportation area, for example, semiautonomous vehicles have tools that let drivers and vehicles know about upcoming congestion, potholes, highway construction, or other possible traffic impediments.

Conclusion

Vehicles can take advantage of the experience of other vehicles on the road, without human involvement, and the entire corpus of their achieved experience is immediately and fully transferable to other similarly configured vehicles. Their advanced algorithms, sensors, and cameras incorporate experience in current operations, and use dashboards and visual displays to present information in real time so human drivers are able to make sense of ongoing traffic and vehicular conditions.

Paranormal Activity Myth, Mystery, or Reality?

For centuries, people have reported their experiences that seem to defy logic—footsteps echoing in empty hallways, objects moving on their own, whispers in the dark. Paranormal activity, a term used to describe unexplained phenomena beyond scientific understanding, continues to spark debate.

A Glimpse Into the Unseen

Many accounts of paranormal activity fall into familiar patterns:

Ghostly Encounters – Shadowy figures or full-bodied apparitions appearing in homes, abandoned buildings, or historic sites.

Poltergeists – Mischievous or aggressive forces causing unexplained noises, moving objects, or even physical attacks.

Unexplained Sounds and Voices – Strange whispers, footsteps, or cries captured on recording devices, often attributed to spirits.

Time Slips and Strange Energy – Some claim to momentarily experience a different time period, as if reality itself had shifted.

Science and Skepticism

While believers argue that some events lack rational explanations, skeptics point to psychological and environmental factors. Sleep paralysis, infrasound vibrations, and electromagnetic fields can all influence perception, creating sensations of a ""presence"" or inducing hallucinations. In many cases, the brain simply fills in the blanks, turning ordinary experiences into something extraordinary.

A Fast Spaced Sport of Skill and Strategy

Mastering Speed And Tactics

It has its roots in ancient games from China, Greece, and India. The modern version of the game evolved in British India in the 19th century, where it was known as "Poona". British army officers brought the game to England, and it was officially named "badminton" after the Duke of Beaufort's estate, where it was first played. The Badminton Association of England was formed in 1893, leading to the standardization of rules.

Badminton is a fast-paced and exciting racquet sport played by millions worldwide. It requires agility, precision, and strategic thinking. The game is played with a shuttlecock and racquets, either in singles (one player per side) or doubles (two players per side). It is an official Olympic sport and is governed by the Badminton World Federation (BWF).

The benefits of playing this game are as follows: -Enhances heart and lung function. -Develops quick reactions and coordination. -Tones legs, arms, and core muscles. -Improves concentration and strategic thinking. -A great sport for weight loss and fitness.

HOLD ON...

Hold on to the girl who brings you peace.

Whose gentle touch makes all worries cease.

The one who knows just what you seek,

With a lovely cooked meal or words to speak.

Hold on to the girl who won't let you despair,

Who reminds you to face the world even though it may not always be fair?

Her eyes can light up your greyest day,

And with her by your side, you will always find your way.

So hold on to that girl and don't ever let go.

In her love, a river of solace, warmth, and flow.

For in her embrace you will find your world,

A love story forever, beautifully unfurled...

Farewell

Lectures, laughs, and sleepless nights, Farewell to days of endless fights. New roads call, but hearts hold tight, B.Tech bonds will shine so bright
