The Restaurant Bar + Grill, located in the heart of Leeds city centre, offers a unique dining experience within the beautifully restored old Post Of ce building.

This extensive multi-million-pound restoration project was dedicated to more than just crafting a visually captivating space; it aimed to offer a superior dining experience in a breathtaking setting, emphasising quality and excellence.

METICULOUSTRANSFORMATIONDETAILEDFINISHING

This intricate bespoke t out, one of our most detailed to date, transformed a 200-year-old Grade 2 listed building. Despite the challenges of the central location, we completed this remarkable renovation on schedule in just six weeks.

In uenced by landmarks like New York’s Grand Central Station, the venue’s open-plan layout enhances space and light, adorned with stylish wishbone lighting, gold leaf detailing 25 feet above and deep walnut wooden panelling throughout.

A highlight of the venue is the honey onyx marble bar with bespoke LED panels creating a radiant stone effect. A wooden bar frontage, mirrored back bar, and 16.5 tonnes of Italian marble combine to enhance the area’s luxurious feel.

Fashioned from 160 premium leather hides, the olive-green banquettes and brass-studded chairs create a cohesive look. The newly designed booth seating offers privacy, while bespoke walnut and marble tables with brass detailing unify the décor.

Piccolino’s Heddon Street is a prominent establishment in London’s dining scene. It features two oors, outdoor dining, a theatre-style kitchen, and a cicchetti bar, creating an authentic Italian experience in the heart of the city.

Being under the ownership of The Individual Restaurant Group, with whom we have a history of collaboration, they were wellacquainted with our ability to consistently deliver high-quality projects within tight deadlines.

MINIMAL CLOSUREBESPOKE BAR

Given that this was a comprehensive renovation of an existing site, the longer it remained closed, the greater the nancial risk. However, our ef cient ‘fast track t out’ approach enabled us to complete the project within a mere 6 weeks.

This high-end bespoke bar with bevelled mirrors, backlit pockets, and polished brass accents enhances the prestige of the restaurant. It includes a main bar with a quartz countertop and premium timber selections.

THEATRE KITCHENALFRESCO DINING

Renowned for its upscale dining experience, we installed a complete theatre kitchen in clear view of the main dining area. This not only put culinary artistry on full display but also enhanced the overall dining atmosphere.

Nestled between Mayfair and Soho, Heddon Street, car-free and adorned with unique and distinctive bars, has been further enriched by our restaurant refurbishment, enhancing the alfresco dining experience in the heart of the city.

SKY GARDEN

Scope: Restaurant Furniture

We were commissioned to furnish the restaurant at The Sky Garden. Far and away London’s highest public garden, The Sky Garden sits atop the Walkie Talkie skyscraper - as it’s affectionately known - and offers visitors a unique experience at the heart of the city.

As you might expect, the location of The Sky Garden36 floors above the ground - presented us with our biggest challenge on this project. We had to plan our work carefully, using the lift only during allocated times to minimise disruption.

MINIMALIST DESIGN

Sleek, minimalist design was at the heart of this project. We created a range of bespoke, hand-crafted furniture for the venue, featuring clean lines, cool marble, and smooth, leather upholstery.

LOGISTICS

The Sky Garden project was an exercise in logistics, with over 200 chairs and 60 tables being taken apart by hand in order to fit in the lifts, before being reassembled in situ.

BESPOKE TABLE TOPS + BASES

We manufactured a range of beautiful bespoke tables, designed according to the client’s exact specifications. The table bases were also Italian styled, set at a specific dining height.

CUSTOM ITALIAN SEATING

We designed the dining and armchairs, and had them manufactured in Italy using the highest quality Italian leathers. These were accompanied by upholstered Italian low stools on chic chrome bases.

Dawnvale has continued to work its magic with The Alchemist, a chain of ultra stylish cocktail bars. Branded the home of molecular mixology, the Alchemist has opened a beautiful waterfront branch at Media City - its third Manchester venue.

Of the 12 Alchemist branches across the UK, Dawnvale has been involved in the transformation of eight - and we’re lined up to work with the Living Ventures group, renowned designers Macaulay Sinclair and The Alchemist team on another four.

TERRACE BAR

The team created a stunning, illuminated terrace bar with two bar stations for The Alchemist’s outside space, embraced by the restaurant’s breathtaking gold facade and overlooking the Manchester ship canal.

COCKTAIL BAR

Part of what makes The Alchemist such a popular venue is the skill of its mixologists. Our ultra fast cocktail stations feature drop-down blenders and double speed rails, making it easy to shake up some magic.

COMMERCIAL KITCHEN

The Alchemist serves food from morning til late. Our custom commercial kitchen, complete with the latest energy-saving Synergy grills and a bespoke extraction system, cuts costs and reduces energy outlay.

BESPOKE INTERIOR FIT OUT

The irregular shape of the building made this job a challenge. But, with a bit of imagination, we helped the team to include everything in the bars and kitchen in a functional, attractive and intuitive way.

Callow Hall in Derbyshire sits within 35 acres of perfectly manicured gardens and woodland. This country house hotel wanted to make the absolute most of its highly sought after Peak District location – the Dawnvale team was on hand to ensure just that with the design, build and

Our design for the room included warming, wooden accents with a large bar area, comfortable seating and a dining area where guests can enjoy a seasonal menu surrounded by nature.

In addition to amplifying the natural light and allowing a seamless inside, outside transition, the expansive glass roof also features a living garden, adding additional greenery to the space.
