The Cooperative Council for Oklahoma School Administration (CCOSA) is the state’s only professional association that brings school leaders together from five different associations for school administrators.

OASSP, affiliated with the National Association of Secondary School Principals, is the professional association for persons practicing or teaching secondary school administration and/or supervision in Oklahoma.

OM LEA

OKLAHOMA MIDDLE LEVEL EDUCATION ASSOCIATION

OMLEA, affiliated with the Association for Middle Level Education, is a professional association of Oklahoma principals and educators who work with middle school and junior high school students.

Members of OAESP or OASSP can join OMLEA for free.

ODSS

OKLAHOMA DIRECTORS OF SPECIAL SERVICES

ODSS, affiliated with the Council of Administrators of Special Education, is a professional association of Oklahoma directors of special services, other school administrators and teachers who have taken on the responsibilities of implementing services and programs for children with disabilities in their school districts.

The benefits of belonging to ODSS:

· Straight answers about the law

· Practical assistance with IDEA and Section 504 issues

· Prompt, accurate information about special education

and disability issues at the national, state and local

Additional Ways to Belong OA R S A

If you are a retired school administrator and previous member of CCOSA, you may join the Oklahoma Association of Retired School Administrators. The dues are small and the benefits are big! In addition to receiving CCOSA updates and publications, you will have an opportunity to remain on the CCOSA life insurance program for a reduced fee.
