Physician Leadership October 18-20 and November 15-17, 2007

The Physician Leadership Program focuses on developing the knowledge and skills that are required by today’s physician leaders. It builds their understanding of the fundamentals of health leadership and management in order to effect change. Drawing from leading research and educational practices, the program will explore emerging leadership strategies and apply them to the health context.

This program meets the accreditation criteria of the College of Family Physicians of Canada and has been accredited for 39.5 MAINPRO-M1 credits.

The Continuing Education Office, Faculty of Medicine, University of Toronto designates this program for a maximum of 39.5 category 1 credits toward the AMA Physician’s Recognition Award.

It is also approved as an Accredited Group Learning Activity under Section 1 of the Framework of CPD options for the Maintenance of Certification Program of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (39.5 hours).

Accommodation is available at the BMO Institute for Learning. A block of rooms is being held.

Cost is $155 per night plus taxes in addition to the registration fee.
