Dear Davidson Day Community,

The Board of Trustees, school administration, and I sincerely appreciate your support during the 2022-2023 school year. Because of you, and with you, our students experienced continued growth and progress - academically, athletically, and artistically.

• Our upper school students collectively scored the best in Davidson Day’s history on Advanced Placement exams!

• Graduates of the class of 2023 were accepted into many right-fit, selective colleges and universities, were eligible for $4.4million in scholarships and, once again, 100% were accepted into a school of their choice.

• Middle schoolers developed their musical talents in our new choral program, led by renowned actress and singer Maria Howell, in addition to their rigorous core and other elective classes.

• Our lower school STEM classes practiced computational thinking through pictorial programming of Ozobot Evo Educational Coding Robots.

• The entire school actively participated in our first K-12 service learning initiative, No BackPack Day, led by the Upper School Community Engagement Council. Together our students collected 525 backpacks for students in Angola and Zambia.

Through your contributions, measured in time, talent and treasure, you helped the school to provide opportunities for learning and understanding. We are grateful for your partnership and how our community continues to come together ensuring our students thrive. From the Board of Trustees to our Administrative team and amazing Faculty across all three divisions, we look forward to the next era of accomplishments for our school.

Hello Fellow Davidson Day Parents,

The 2022-2023 school year was one of gratitude for the Patriot Parent Association. Throughout the year, we celebrated the phenomenal teachers who guide our children every day and the administrators and staff who ensure the school operates efficiently.

We thank each of you, our PPA members, for attending and supporting our many activities. From the movie nights at the beginning of the year to the field days at the end, our children and their teachers greatly benefited from your involvement. We all felt a sense of community and great school spirit.

The true PPA heroes were our many officers and volunteers. They collectively dedicated thousands of hours, shared their incredible talents, and invested their unlimited energy into showing appreciation for the faculty and staff and ensuring our children had an unforgettable year. We cannot thank them enough for helping to make the Davidson Day family so strong!

To Our Patriot Parents,

What a great year to be a Davidson Day Patriot! Throughout 2022-2023, our incredible student-athletes represented our school like champions and made us all proud. We want to thank you for helping them to excel.

Last year, our more than 250 upper school and middle school athletes and coaches achieved remarkable success, winning 2 State Championships (Varsity Girls Soccer/ Varsity Boys Tennis), 5 Individual State Championships (Boys Swimming), 1 State Runner Up (Varsity Volleyball), 5 Foothills Athletic Conference Championships; earning 19 All-State Individual Selections, 4 Foothills Athletic Conference Players of the Year, 2 Collegiate Athletes from Class of 2023, and 4 Middle School Conference Championships.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our Patriot Athletic Club (PAC) Members & Sponsors for their tremendous support last year. Your generosity and volunteer efforts made a significant impact on our athletes, coaches, and Athletic Director, contributing to a highly successful year.
