MAINTENANCE APPRECIATION WEEK 2026

Christian and Creon Colbert are the very best. They spent several hours ahead of the 4th of July weekend replacing our hot water heater. They were very careful avoiding any messes regarding the carpeting and cleaned up nicely upon completion. They even fixed a problem with our shower when they finished with the water heater. Very friendly and nice.

Milton has been polite, prompt and professional in repairing maintenance issues in our apartment. We appreciate his skills and positive attitude.

Angel has also been helpful to us, responding quickly when I asked him for help when I saw him in the hall doing another task. These exceptional maintenance staff members deserve recognition.

This gentleman is professional and polite. My tasks are ALWAYS complete timely and efficiently. Brett is extremely knowledgeable and goes above and beyond the normal to ensure my concerns are addressed and action taken is explained with a follow-up. Both of these men work hard.

When I see them they are engaged in work or on their way to work. So I would say that they are both at the top of their game. They are always friendly and respond quickly.

I wish I could select more than one since the terminology TEAM is being used and with that being the case I would select the following as a TEAM. Christian, Creon, Kobi and Jay which all have been to my apartment to service different in my unit which was appreciated by me.Thank you!

Mike was very patient last year when I had squirrels living in the attic over my apartment.

He took the time to resolve the issue and was always available to listen to my frustration.

Mike also worked hard to get a new roof for our building following multiple roof leaks from the rain. Mike is a true leader for the maintenace team and cares about the residents in the community. Thanks Mike for all that you do!

Since living here for nearly 4 years, the maintenance team from the most senior to the least, have consistently met my approval, for knowledge, professionalism and efficiency.

I would have chosen 4; however, there has never been a time, that Mr. Milt lacked any of the above job qualifications.

- Resident at Ingram Manor Apartments For starters, the whole team rocks! Milton is around all hours and Brandon is constantly improving our space. James cleared our drains early on when we moved in and was so fast and pleasant. He also helped with our dryer at one point. He always says hello when we cross paths and has a big smile on his face to greet all the residents. Not to mention my dog likes him too. Thank you to the whole DSB maintenance team at MetroCentre!

Both maintenance people are professional and efficient. It’s also nice that they’re neighbors because it makes me feel they have a personal stake in the community, like the rest of the residents!

I love the entire maintenance team that serves The Met! It is clear Adam leads a professional and organized team. Routinely when I walk my dog in the mornings I can see the maintenance team meeting in the conference room where I assume tasks are being discussed and divided up. What a great way to start your day with clear communication. Whenever I’ve encountered any of the maintenance team members I am always met with professionalism and a warm greeting. They are always willing to help and keep our building looking and feeling like we live in a luxury hotel. I absolutely love The Met and I credit most of that to maintenance team for taking such great care of the buildings and facilities. This also extends, especially, to our building cleaner!

Everything always smells so fresh and clean!

Whenever Kobie and the maintenance team comes to take care of what ever is going on in my apartment building he is always there and I know that the problem will be done never had to call him back about the same problem.

I have been living here a long time and have noticed Mr. Taylor’s work ethic since he started working here. He has always been thorough in his assignment, helpful, respectful and willing to advise solutions available when needed. I have watched him go about his work when he didn’t even know I was watching. He is a credit to the company and should be rewarded.

We would like to nominate Eric Callaway for the prestigious David S. Brown Enterprises “Knower of Stuff, Fixer of Things” award.

Eric installed several ADA-approved toilets for us to help us age in place. One of those installations was very tricky involving reworking some plumbing inside a wall while lying on his back. He diligently stuck to it and figured it out, for which we are very grateful.

You are a rock star, Eric!

My experience with Christian and Creon has been excellent. Both came in and saved the day for me.

They delivered on their promises to make sure everything I needed taken care of would be done and what they couldn’t address, they provided a resolution I believe they will follow through on. Christian was very nice, fully explained everything that he was doing and what was going on. I appreciate that level of communication. Hope Christian wins but if not, the maintenance team has a great tech in him!!

Robert is great for maintenance. All of the men have responded in a timely manner.

Tim seems to know everything! I’ve called him the “furnace whisperer “ because he was able to troubleshoot a complicated issue with our furnace. He has an extremely calm and pleasant demeanor. We at the “senior” Ingram Manor building love him.
