WELCOME
My name is David Sakumoto and I am a Japanese and Korean Designer practicing the art of model making in the realm of architecture. From traditional/analog craftsmanship to the utilization of digital and 3D tools, I have crafted a repertoire of skills that would challenge myself in how we make models today.
I believe that great models harness both traditional craftsmanship and the utilization of advanced digital technology.
The following pages include samples of my professional and academic work that embody who I am as a model maker.
