CONCEPT IDEAS
The idea of my design did aim at designing a sustainable building. By the use of elements such as green walls and closed courtyards in the hostel building,it allows people to feel one with nature. The courtyards are all open to the sky on order to let in light and greatly improve on ventilation of the building. Another beneficial factor of the use of green walls is to reduce psycological stress and also provides health benefits to the residents of the hostels.
