We hope to enrich the footballing community of Portsmouth, making them a focal point to be a Premium Worldwide 11-a-side football tournament on the Southcoast over the next 5 years.

Hello and thankyou for enquiring and showing interest in the sponsorship opportunities for the very first Portsmouth Festival of Football tournament. August 2015. After many years as a football enthusiast, I始ve travelled much of the UK and the USA as a Football or 驶Soccer始 coach with varying success in tournaments, leagues and camps, notably DUKE University, NC and World Class Soccer in Fairfax, Virginia, before returning home and becoming a schoolteacher in Portsmouth. # With a degree in Sport and experience of organizing mainly large scale 5-a-side football tournaments with Powerleague Soccer; part of the organising team of the News of the World National fives, organised camps & clinics here and abroad, as well as organizing teams and establishing community football clubs. I feel I have some of the right credentials to organize and promote this tournament. Club experience, my links with Portsmouth University saw me gain recognition with UPWFC, coaching and winning the National BUSA shield in 2005 and then leaving to setup Hayling United Ladies FC in 2006. Through this, I currently work with Andy Broadhurst (secretary of BTC Southampton) who is also on the organising committee and felt that there was a need for pre-season 11-a-side football tournament somewhere in between. It is not the first time an International Youth Football Tournament has been held at Portsmouth University, since 2000 there has been a gap and it is felt something missing in the footballing community. This coming year we felt we would close that gap and once again build a reputation, for providing first class facilities at the University of Portsmouth (currently home to Portsmouth Football Club) and inviting 72 teams to compete in divisions sponsored by yourselves. Local businesses, proud of their community, promoting sport & engagement for our youth, Locally, Regionally, Nationally and Internationally.
