Xhale Luxury Villa

well-worn criticism levelled at many contemporary Tropical Modern homes built in the Caribbean is that whilst many do look stunning and dramatic, they often lack that sense of harmony or connectivity with their location. Whilst these observations may be true there are some exceptions that contradict this view.
The trick is to merge the familiar Tropical Modern clean lines, floor to ceiling sliding windows and muted colour palette formula together with furnishings and craft-work that breaks from the sterile to create the homely. Situated on just over an half acre of land above Anse Galet Bay, where the Atlantic Ocean meets the Caribbean Sea on the northern tip of the windswept bluffs of Saint Lucia’s Cap Estate, is a villa that is not only an outstanding example of contemporary modern design, but one which is in totally harmony with its location.

Tastefully decorated Xhale’s owners
throughout,
worked in collaboration
with the west elm contemporary design store based in
Dadeland, Miami to design every aspect of the vlla’s layout and decor.
There’s a wonderfully laid back, light and airy vibe throughout the Xhale, upstairs the high ceilings and oversized sliding walls of glass are used as “pocket doors” that slide away to aid breezy cross ventilation. In keeping with the open plan layout, the sitting areas on the landing of the upper floor and the TV room also present exquisite views of Anse Galet Bay and the Caribbean Sea. All of these tastefully decorated areas offer the perfect space for entertaining and socialising. Outside, the perfectly appointed infinity pool is framed on either side by the spacious kitchen/dining area to the left and the expansive living area to the right. Xhale comes with a modern kitchen that is furnished with all the high-end equipment and appliances one would need to prepare gourmet meals. The kitchen and dining room has an open concept with yet more sliding doors that open to a terrace that ensures guests enjoy the cool island breeze and the amazing sun set views. There is also the option of dining outdoors on the extended deck which is fully furnished with outdoor dining furniture, barbecue grill and a fire pit.
