Horoscopes
Aries (March 21-April 19)
Life may slow down for Aries folk, offering some welcome rest from the recent whirl of activity, giving you time to spend with family and close friends. It is a time for quiet reflection, recovery and an ideal time to re-charge your batteries.
Taurus (April 20-May 20) This is likely to be a spiritual phase for Taureans where you will be in a reflective and contemplative mood. It is entirely likely that stepping back from the business in your life will make you spiritually stronger. Don’t feel guilty about taking time out to relax.
Gemini (May 21-June 20) Geminis may see the need to sort out minor issues in personal relationships. It would be beneficial to all concerned if both parties could listen to the other and act directly and quickly upon what has been said. You may need to curb their idealism and learn to be more practical in their relationships.
Cancer (June 21-July 22) You may feel a bit fragile - whether this is due to stress at work, family problems or simply that your work/ life balance is off-kilter. In any case, Cancerians could find alternative therapies very helpful, especially when symptoms like tiredness, headaches and indigestion are vague annoyances.
Leo (July 23-August 22) Your finances will be in great shape during this phase and there could be an influx of money which you didn’t know was coming. This will mean that you can fulfill some of your wishes or desires. It could be a lucky time for you in all aspects of your financial dealings, so don’t hold back!
Virgo (August 23-September 22) You could find yourself in a quiet and reflective mood and feel a bit down and dejected. It may be that you are struggling with the pace of your life at the moment so be mindful that life doesn’t always have to go at a hundred miles an hour.
Libra (September 23-October 22) If you are tempted to overspend, try to resist the urge. This is likely to be a very social period in your calendar and you may need to watch any potential strain on your finances. You will be in great demand on the social circuit and others will seek out your company.
Scorpio (October 23-November 21) Your patience could well be put to the test. There could be a situation where you will need to forgive and forget, rather than harping on about something that has irritated you. Your emotions may be up and down but mentally you will remain strong and able to deal with whatever may happen.
Sagittarius (November 22-December 21) This could be a profitable period for those born under the sign of the archer. You will be confident enough to take risks, and if you make investments this month, they may prove profitable in the future. An approach to your bosses about a pay rise may prove more successful than it has previously.
Capricorn (December 22-January 19) Capricorn charts show you may need to slow down and take more care of your health. You may also need time to de-stress and get away from the workplace. A few hours of relaxation, especially at weekends, could be of great benefit to you.
Aquarius (January 20-February 18)
You are going to experience a certain amount of fulfillment where your career is concerned and much satisfaction will be gained from doing well and achieving your goals. Others will seek you out for advice which they will follow and you could find yourself becoming a bit of a guru in the workplace.
Pisces (February 19-March 20) You will be dealing with a lot of money-related issues during this period and your horoscope predictions suggest that any financial speculations you make will be fruitful, though you will not indulge in impulsive spending; rather, you will be taking a more measured and careful approach to your finances.

“Alexa, show me the front door”
Privacy please
Using an Echo Show or Spot, you can have a live feed from cameras such as Google’s Nest or Amazon’s Ring. One of the best is the £179 battery-powered Ring Video Doorbell 2, which can be installed just about anywhere without wiring. Simply say “Alexa, show me the front door”, to see who’s calling.
You can always mute the mics on an Echo device to stop it listening, but if you’re concerned you’ve been oversharing, deleting your recordings and query history is the next step. Doing so is easy: you can select individual recordings in the Alexa app, or take the nuclear option and delete your daily, weekly, monthly or entire history through the Alexa privacy settings on the Amazon website.
Sonos via voice The Echo’s speaker is adequate but if your ears are more demanding, Sonos’s excellent multiroom speakers are Alexa-compatible. The Sonos One has Alexa built in, but you can control any of the Play series of speakers via an Alexa device, including the Dot by adding the Sonos skill. Then it’s as simple as saying: “Alexa, play music on kitchen”, or whatever your Sonos speaker is called.
‘Dinner’s ready!’ If you have multiple Alexa devices you can use them as an intercom in your home. Just approach one and say: “Alexa, drop in on… (insert name of other Alexa device)”; then speak through it and hear whoever is on the other end.
Music all over the house
Top skills
If you have multiple Echo speakers dotted around, you can use them to play multiroom music, similar to the way expensive systems such as Sonos work. Just add them to appropriate groups and play music to just downstairs, upstairs or all of them at the same time.
Routines Once you’ve got voice control over lights and other bits, the next stage is to set up customised commands, or “routines” in Alexa speak. Creating them is simple via the Alexa app: just add devices, give the routine a name and set the actions. Want to turn off all the lights when you tell Alexa goodnight? Now you can.
Top accessories Echo buttons Official accessories are few and far between, but Echo Buttons are little light-up buttons that you pair with your Echo via Bluetooth for playing games. Most of the options are quizbased, with the Echo acting as your gameshow host. Up to four can be connected at any one time for party play.
Earplay
How to get the best from Alexa “Alexa, turn on the lights” Once you’ve got your Echo set up as the beginnings of your smart home, voice controlled lightbulbs are one of the easiest and best upgrades you can make - just swap your dumb bulb for a smart one. A variety are available from £10 upwards. Philips’s popular Hue bulbs can connect directly to the Echo Plus but need the Hue Hub with other Echo devices.
If you’ve ever wished radio dramas or audiobooks were interactive, you need to check out the series of Earplay skills. They feature chooseyour-own-adventure-style stories through Alexa. There are a few good free ones to choose from with shorts and demos of others that are worth your time.
“Alexa, ask TrackR to find my phone” Lost your smartphone again? Alexa can help you find it with the TrackR skill. Activate the free skill on Alexa, link it with the free app on your Android or iPhone, then simply ask Alexa to make your phone ring, even if it’s on silent.
7-Minute Workout Alexa can help you exercise. The 7-Minute Workout skill will guide you through an exercise routine. You can pause it to give yourself a breather, and there are images and tutorials available in the Alexa app on your phone to help you get the exercises right.

Best Caribbean getaways W hen it comes to holidays in the Caribbean, the common perception is that it’s all about beaches. But while it is true that the USP
of many islands is palm-shaded sands lapped by a gin-clear bathwarm sea, the region offers so much more. Choose the right destination and you can, for example, enjoy
fantastic diving, snorkelling and sailing, trek through - and zipline over - rainforests and visit fascinating sights associated with the islands’ complex colonial heritage.
Sugar Beach, St. Lucia
are without TVs, Wi-Fi or phones - you raise a flag for room service. Thrilling snorkelling and diving trips to the nearby Tobago Cays are on offer. Booked through Carrier.
and desserts, and the more casual beachside Sand Bar. Booked through Carrier.
Supremely elegant Sugar Beach has an extraordinary setting. It unfurls over a 100-acre estate between the cleavage of St Lucia’s pair of landmark Pitons, and within the scene is an arc of blinding white sand (imported from Guyana) - definitely the island’s most memorable strand. If you tire of lounging on the sands or under the almond trees of the beachfront bar, the snorkelling and diving in the bay (a protected marine reserve) are excellent.

Eden Rock, St. Barths
St. Vincent & The Grenadines
The French outpost of St Barths is arguably the gourmet capital of the Caribbean, and the glamorous Eden Rock, on and alongside a rocky promontory on lively St Jean beach, is undoubtedly one of the best dining spots on the island.
If you want to really get away from it all, a good bet is one of the privateisland resorts in the Grenadines. These include Petit St Vincent, a 20-minute boat transfer from Union Island, whose 115 acres are fringed with pristine beaches. The 22 secluded cottages and villas

Famous French chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten oversees the cuisine at the hotel’s two restaurants, the stylish and romantic On The Rocks, which offers exceptional seafood
Trinidad and Tobago These sister islands offer the Caribbean’s richest and most diverse birdlife. Steppes Travel suggests four nights at Asa Wright Nature Centre, a world-famous birding lodge in Trinidad’s Northern Range, then four nights at Tobago’s Blue Waters Inn, which has birdwatching trails in the expansive grounds (and is also an ideal base for exploring Tobago’s excellent diving).
St. Kitts and Nevis St Kitts and Nevis combine perfectly for a two-island break: from one to the other takes just 10 minutes in a speedboat or 45 minutes by public ferry. The islands offer plenty to see and do, including impressive colonial sights such as St Kitts’ Brimstone Hill Fortress, remains of old sugar mills on Nevis, and rainforest hikes. Booked through Western & Oriental.

Cuba tour
Nonsuch Bay, Antigua
Walking holiday, Dominica
Not everything works smoothly in Cuba, the food isn’t great, and journeys can be long if touring. So for an exploratory family holiday, it’s better suited to older children. With ubiquitous live music, old Cadillacs, iconic heroes like Che Guevara and quirky communist ways, teenagers should find the country culturally fascinating. Booked through Explore.
On a reef-protected bay in eastern Antigua, Nonsuch Bay is a great choice for yachty families, or those wanting to learn the ropes. It has a fleet of sailing craft and a sailing school with instruction for all ages and abilities. Accommodation includes spacious and well-equipped suites and cottages that work well for families. Booked through Carrier.
Mountainous, coated in dense rainforest and home to impressive waterfalls and rare parrots, Dominica is the Caribbean’s nature isle par excellence. And it is a walker’s paradise.KE Adventure Travel runs guided, small-group trekking holidays to the island, with luggage transported between small hotels and guesthouses and four or five hours’ walking most days on forest trails and coastal paths. One day there’s the option for a longer hike through the steaming Valley of Desolation to the Boiling Lake (a flooded volcanic fumerole). Booked through KE Adventure Travel.
Atlantis Paradise Island, Bahamas
Scuba diving, Cayman Islands
Over-the-top, 3,600-room Atlantis Paradise Island (pictured above) is not for the faint-hearted. But with its vast water park with near-vertical slide down a faux Mayan temple, a mile of river rides and 11 pools, plus a giant aquarium and activities such as swimming with dolphins, the children certainly won’t be bored. Booked through Kuoni.
Scuba diving can be a fantastic experience wherever you choose to do it, but arguably the best place to experience it is the Caribbean and, in particular, the Cayman Islands and the waters off sleepy Little Cayman (pictured below). They include the world-famous Bloody Bay Wall vertical drop, which are particularly special. Booked through Original Diving.

Spring is around the corner!! It can prove a busy time of the year for gardeners and all of a sudden there are a thousand and one things that can be done, such as early sowings of flower and vegetable varieties being started so as to give them a head start. It can also be a good time to start preparations for sowing new lawns, as well as getting the machinery serviced and ready for the coming season if you haven’t done so already.
Flowers & plants Sowings can be made in a propagator, in a heated greenhouse or on a windowsill at a temperature of approximately 21ºC (70ºF), of many summer bedding plants, such as geranium, petunia, impatiens (busy lizzie) and nicotiana along with some perennials. Take care not to sow too thickly or over-water as this can lead to the seedlings damping off (small patches of them suddenly dying for no apparent reason). Many people find that its best to pour the seed into the palm of their hand first, rather than sowing it directly from the packet. If seed is very fine, it can be mixed with silver sand to make it easier to sow thinly and evenly across the surface of the compost. During this month cuttings may be taken from chrysanthemums that have been over-wintered. Remember to regularly deadhead pansies,
18
after approx-imately half an hour remove the pot from the saucer and throw away any water that is left.
Lawns
Gardening primulas along with other winter/spring bedding plants as, depending on the temperature, you may find they flower at varying times. Also, removing faded flowers will help to prevent seeds setting which in turn reduces flower performance. As amaryllis are now in full bloom - or will be very soon - the plants should be watered once or twice a week. This should be done by standing the pot in a saucer of water, allowing the plant to take as much as required, and so that the roots do not remain in the water
As milder weather conditions arrive, weeds will start to grow on areas of ground already prepared in preparation for sowing a new lawn they should be brought under control before sowing begins in April. On existing lawns, brush off any unsightly wormcasts with a stiff broom, besom or rake. If you haven’t already done so, now is a good time to get your lawn mower serviced.
Trees and shrubs To avoid tree and shrub branches from breaking, use a broom to knock off any snow laying on them, should you still be having this type of weather in your part of the country. Tree ties should be checked making sure they aren’t cutting into the bark. Any worn or damaged ties should be replaced. Should you have experienced any storms or high winds check to see that any tree stakes and ties haven’t been damaged. Fleece or fine mesh netting is an ideal way of protecting vulnerable plants from severe frost.
Wild Birds Wild birds will appreciate food being provided for them. You will also get the pleasure of seeing a variety of birds in your garden along with a warm feel. The weather is still cold this month, so hang fat balls and keep bird feeders topped up to attract birds, who will in turn eat pests in your garden.

The new Ford Focus: history in the making?
F
to the large dash-top screen.
ord has just released its newgeneration Ford Focus. Do you know what that means? It means we’re at a monumental point in history that, while nobody will ever really remember it, could impact you greatly.
Because like the automotive equivalent of planetary alignment, we are reaching a moment when Toyota, Mazda, Hyundai and Ford will have all brought their latest-gen small cars to market at about the same time. Okay, you may not find that exciting, but it means you’ve now got the most current technology, styling and safety features to choose from right across the board, with Ford the latest to throw everything it’s got at its new small-car contender. We feature the hatch in both the Trend and ST-Line grades.
New design features? This new-generation Focus is completely new, and that goes for its

Previous versions of the car had rear quarter glass; a small porthole which looked into the boot. That’s now been incorporated into the door glass, which means the rear passenger aperture is larger.
At 4378mm end to end, the Focus hatch is 18mm longer than the previous model, while at 1454mm tall it’s 13mm shorter, and it’s 1979mm wide including the wing mirrors. Telling the grades apart may not be obvious at first, but the ST-Line car is recognisable thanks to the blackedout grille, more aggressive bumper treatment with its air-blade style design around the fog lights, and its twin exhaust.
Inside, the cabin has been decluttered of its galaxy of buttons, and that busy interior has given way to a more minimalist design with many of the functions moved

Engine stats? The new Focus has been given a new engine! It’s a 1.5-litre, three-cylinder turbo-petrol, but don’t let that put you off - it makes as much grunt as the four cylinder in the old Focus. Actually, at 134kW, it makes 2kW more power and the same amount of torque (240Nm). Cylinder-deactivation allows the engine to run on two when not under much load, which is even more frugal. The old six-speed auto has been replaced with an eight-speed automatic - it’s not a dual-clutch, it’s a traditional torque-converter auto. The Focus doesn’t offer a manual gearbox, and is front-wheel drive.
What’s it like to drive? The ST-Line hatch is the sporty one in the Focus range, even though it has the same 1.5-litre, three-cylinder turbo-petrol engine as the Trend (and the Titanium). What makes it sporty is its sports suspension. Does it work? Absolutely, although you may not realise just how well until you drive the Trend hatch after steering its ST-Line brother for a few hours first. Three-cylinder engines tend to have a satisfying little burble to their exhaust notes, but the ST-Line hatch had a particularly deep growl to it at idle. While the ST-Line does have a dual exhaust, the engine output is the same as any other Focus, and so the gravelly voice is more theatrics than suggesting the car is any more potent than a Trend. The Trend has softer suspension, which you’d think would offer the best ride, but over the bumps and bruises of country roads, the Trend’s ride was comfortable but bit bouncy, while the ST-Line was more composed and meant the occupants weren’t jiggled around as much. Shifting gears is an eight-speed automatic (you can’t get a manual), but it’s super keen to shift to a higher gear as early as possible, and when sitting at about 100km/h on a motorway, it was indecisive about which gear it wanted to be in; go 104km/h and it shifted up, drop to 97km/h and it shifted down. Both the Trend and ST-Line Hatch performed well, with the ST-Line in particular approaching or even matching Volkswagen Golf levels of agility and composure.
and cyclist detection, and lane keeping assistance and traffic sign recognition - the latter of which can read speed limits for you. The Titanium comes standard with a lane-centre system, which works seriously well - drift out of your lane and the system rapidly yanks you back in again. Auto parking is optional only on the Titanium, and can be used for parallel or perpendicular parking. Also standard on all is a 180-degree split-view camera, but front parking sensors are only available to option on the Titanium - again, that’s a bit odd.
The verdict Different but more refined looks, a smaller but powerful-for-its-size engine, plenty of advanced safety equipment and more room than ever before, the new Ford Focus is much better than the model before it. And it has to be - the competition is fierce. The sweet spot in the range is the ST-Line hatch with its long list of standard features, comfortable ride and impressive handling.

Your guide to the best of the new releases Dido Still On My Mind March 8 (BMG) The English hitmaker Dido is set to return with her first album in five years. The forthcoming effort serves as Dido’s fifth overall and follow-up to Girl Who Got Away, the 2013 LP which featured producers Jeff Bhasker and Greg Kurstin. Much of Still On My Mind was written and recorded in England as “a result of the fruitful and incredibly natural production/ songwriting partnership” with brother Rollo, who contributed extensively to all of her previous releases. “It was simple, I only wanted to
Avril Lavigne Head Above Water February 15 (BMG) “I feel like I’ve really opened up on this record more than I ever have before,” Avril says of her new album. “Each song tells a story that will hopefully inspire others to believe in themselves and stand up for what they know is right and what they truly deserve!
Sleaford Mods Eaton Alive February 22 (Extreme Eating) The fifth studio album from neverknowingly-short-of-a-pun duo Sleaford Mods is on their own new ‘Extreme Eating’ label following a relatively brief sojourn with Rough Trade.
The vocals and the lyrics are very vulnerable which is reflective of the feelings I had in relationships like these. I wanted to write something classic and have been inspired by some of the timeless queens I listen to everyday at home, Billie Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald, Aretha Franklin and Etta James. They represent women who stand up for women and aren’t going to put up with a man’s bulls**t anymore!” Kingdom apart. Be assured that Sleaford Mods will have plenty to say on the subject of Brexit, austerity and pretty much everything else - all splurted out in their usual inimitable rattle-and-rant style.

make another album if it was with him,” the 46-year-old Grammynominated singer noted in a statement. “It was made in such an easy way, all the vocals recorded on the sofa, a lot of it recorded at home.” Still On My Mind is said to carry a “dance and electronic music sensibility,” an ambiance that can be heard on its spiraling, synthpopleaning lead single, “Hurricanes”.

Health Some bad habits that are actually good for you...
E
ver promised yourself that this year you were definitely going to give up a bad habit, only to give into your vice again after only a couple of hours? Well, the good news is that ‘bad’ habit may not actually be as harmful as you think.
Gossiping Most of us love a good gossip, whether we’re giggling over a colleague’s new romance or passing an opinion on someone’s outfit choice or behaviour, and the good news is that gossiping could actually be good for us. Not only does listening to gossip help us to learn more about the characters of those around us, but bonding and having a laugh with your peers also releases feel-good hormones which help to relieve stress and anxiety.
Drinking coffee Although drinking too much coffee can be detrimental to your health, in smaller quantities the popular hot drink can actually be good for you. When drunk in moderation (no more than three cups per day), caffeine can speed up your metabolism, boost exercise endurance and reduce your risk of gallstones and kidney stones. A recent study has also found that women who drink two or more cups of coffee a day are less likely to be depressed, while separate research has shown that drinking three cups cuts risk of age-related diabetes.
Swearing
Shouting expletives out in the middle of the street isn’t recommended but studies suggest that in certain situations swearing may actually be good for you. According to a study by the University of East Anglia, swearing at work could help employees cope with stress and maintain solidarity. Meanwhile, researchers at Keele University’s School of Psychology found that swearing can provide effective shortterm relief from pain. However, the study also notes that swearing should be reserved for crises only, as the higher the daily swearing frequency was for participants, the less pain relief they experienced.
Skipping a shower
Repeatedly missing showers may not win you any friends, but if you are ever tempted to skip a shower here and there, research suggests that you could be doing your health (and the environment) a favour. Daily washing not only strips your skin of the natural oils that keep it hydrated and supple, it could also strip your skin of good bacteria that help to prevent disease. If you do decide to skip a shower, just try to do it on a day when you won’t be vigorously working out!
Having a lie-in
accidents, weight gain, and increased risk of heart disease. Furthermore, delaying your morning workout in favour of some shut-eye may have health benefits, as research from Brunel University found that heavy training sessions early in the morning can compromise the immune system.
Losing your temper
Many of us have been brought up to believe that losing our temper is the ultimate social faux pas. To an extent this is true (nobody wants to hang out with that person who is always losing their cool and shouting their mouth off ), however research has found that losing your temper could actually be good for your health. Venting your emotions is believed to reduce the effects of stress, while a Swedish study found that men who bottled up their anger when unfairly treated at work doubled their risk of having a heart attack.
Feeling guilty about your weekend lie-in? Don’t be! Research has found that sleep can help you live longer, boost your memory and reduce stress, while not getting enough can lead to

Fitness Does caffeine enhance sports performance?
A
pre-race cup of coffee is as much part of the keen exercisers ergogenic arsenal as a bottle of sports drink these days. But does caffeine really enhance sports performance?
The effect of caffeine on performance Current research suggests that caffeine almost certainly has an ergogenic influence in some people, in some forms of exercise. The most compelling evidence regarding caffeine’s usefulness is in prolonged submaximal endurance exercise. For runners, that means your long and steady runs - sessions in which you are exercising for a long time but not at your maximum effort. Workouts that do not use the person’s maximum effort but last 40 minutes or more are also examples of prolonged submaximal endurance exercise. There is less research on the effect of caffeine in multi-sprint sports, such as football and tennis — although one study found that women who took caffeine prior to a four-hour tennis match won significantly more games compared to when they drank a carbohydrate drink or a placebo.
Caffeine sensitivity
It’s important to bear in mind that the amount of caffeine-induced performance enhancement you are likely to get depends, in part, on your ‘caffeine sensitivity.’ Starbucks addicts are less likely to get a performance kick than people who only rarely partake in a cappuccino. Then again, if you aren’t accustomed to caffeine, you may find that it upsets your stomach — so it isn’t something to experiment with prior to an important race or training session.
Negative effects of caffeine
While coffee gets a bad press for its dehydrating and diuretic effect on sports people, studies have shown that caffeine consumption prior to exercise does not increase levels of urination or dehydration possibly due to increased adrenaline interfering with the usual function of the kidneys. Caffeine is a diuretic, but the fluid provided in the drink is enough to offset its diuretic effect. Take 60mg of caffeine and add it to a cupful of water and milk, and you’ll likely end up more hydrated than if you hadn’t drunk it.
How much caffeine to drink?
So how much caffeine do you need to get a performance benefit? There is no single, definitive dose that will work for everyone — though the research suggests that competitive athletes should stick to 6mg per kg of bodyweight or less, in order to balance the chances of getting a boost with the risk of exceeding the legal limit of 12mg of caffeine per 1ml of urine. This equates to roughly two to three cups of coffee for most people. Or you can dispense with your cup of coffee altogether and opt for caffeine pills. Whichever way you get your caffeine fix, take it an hour before your workout to ensure that you reap the benefits. And remember, this is not one of those instances where ‘if some is good, more must be better.’ Too much caffeine can lead to headaches, palpitations, dizziness, tummy
upsets and insomnia, none of which will help your performance. How badly this affects you will depend on your caffeine sensitivity, Listen to your body it will tell you how much is too much.

Best freshwater aquarium fish for beginners So, you have decided to start a freshwater aquarium and you probably can’t wait to stock it with your chosen fish. But... before you actually go out and purchase the most beautiful fish you can get your money on, you will first need to decide if you want:a) Cold Water Tank or a) Heated Tank. Each type of aquarium has its own benefits and species of fish unique to the water temperature of your tank. Generally, heated aquariums offer more varieties of fish to choose from.
Cold water freshwater aquarium fish A cold water aquarium keeps the water at room temperature. You should still include a filtration system. If you’ve decided on keeping a cold water fish tank, here are some ideas for beginners.
Gold Fish Gold fish come in many varieties of sizes and colours and are great for beginners who have an unheated aquarium. These fish prefer temperatures between 62-74 degrees Fahrenheit.
It is an active fish that is always on the move. These fish work well in temperatures that range from 64 to 82 degrees Fahrenheit. This is a peaceful fish, but it prefers to live in a group. You will enjoy seeing the group move together through the aquarium. If you only have one, it tends to be shy.
White Cloud
Bloodfin Tetras These small fish are identified by their silver bodies and striking red fins. These are extremely hardy fish. In some aquariums they live up to ten years.
44
Platies Paties are great for beginners because there are so many varieties to choose from. They do very well in a community tank with other passive fish. As a livebearer they will produce young frequently.
The White Cloud Mountain Minnow is another small fish that tolerates cold temperatures, and can withstand temperatures as low as 60 degrees Fahrenheit.
They are hardy fish that tend to live in the middle and top areas of the tank. They prefer to live in a group. Purchasing six or so will help promote good health and colour in these fish. They can live up to five years with proper care.
Heated freshwater aquarium fish Gold fish tend to be messy eaters. So, be sure to change 10 percent of the water each week. Treating the water with a dechlorinator is also a good idea.
brackish or salt water, with temperatures ranging from 70 to 82 degrees Fahrenheit.
A heated tank allows you to keep a wider variety of tropical fish. The temperature typically ranges from 72 to 82 degrees Fahrenheit. Here are some ideas for those who decided on a heated tank.
Most often the babies are eaten by other tank members. Platies are selectively bred to create new combinations of colors. You will be sure to find several that suit your taste.
Betta If you are looking for additional flash and colour, the betta fish is the one for you. The males have brilliantly bright long fins. They are also known as Siamese Fighting Fish. They fight with other bettas, so you will only want one in your tank.
Black Molly The black molly is a peaceful fish and is a good choice if you want a community tank with several types of fish. One of the advantages of choosing this fish is that it can adapt to fresh,
These fish are hardy and will eat flake food or pellets. Because of the male’s long fins, be sure not to pair them with others who might pick at the fins.
