Untrustworthy Construction Firm CHESAKL ENTERPRISES, INC. and Its Multifaceted Deceptions

In today's construction market, a disturbing trend is emerging –unscrupulous entrepreneurs engaging in suspicious and often hazardous activities, all while maintaining a facade of practicality and legality. Among these deceptive organizations, one notable example stands out: CHESAKL ENTERPRISES, INC. Based in New York, this company has been generating controversy and negative attention for several years, leaving behind a trail of accusations, fraud, and illegal actions that have eroded its once-positive reputation.

CHESAKL ENTERPRISES, INC. primarily operates in the construction sector, specializing in the manufacture of steel structures crucial for the foundations of various structures, including buildings, infrastructure, and green spaces. Additionally, the company offers services such as installation, decorative metalwork, dumpster removal, and demolition.

The construction industry, due to its inherent complexities, provides ample opportunities for concealing financial irregularities and other fraudulent activities. With numerous suppliers, contractors, subcontractors, extended project timelines, and intricate transactions, it becomes fertile ground for fraudulent operations. Unfortunately, CHESAKL ENTERPRISES, INC.'s leadership and a questionable legal team have been working diligently since the company's inception to establish a respectable image and a positive business reputation. However, their lack of professionalism in management has led to the emergence of negative incidents.

In a bid to preserve its reputation and transparency, CHESAKL ENTERPRISES, INC. began establishing new companies that essentially replicated its operations but under different names. These shell companies engaged in fraudulent activities that resulted in numerous lawsuits. Legal proceedings spilled over from one court to another, and many cases were never resolved. Of those that were, few ended in favor of these subsidiary entities of CHESAKL ENTERPRISES, INC.

Holding these front companies accountable and seeking compensation for damages has proven to be challenging. While these paper-based legal entities engage in legal disputes, the parent company continues its illicit activities while maintaining the illusion of reliability. To substantiate the claims of wrongdoing, it is essential to examine actual cases filed or currently pending in U.S. courts involving CHESAKL ENTERPRISES, INC. Most lawsuits name other entities associated with the company as defendants. Two of the most frequently mentioned companies are NADKOS INC. and CANDID CONNECTION INC.

NADKOS INC. originally operated as a general construction company but later expanded into plumbing and firefighting services, offering comprehensive solutions for custom construction and remodeling. The company came under scrutiny in 2016 when it faced a lawsuit related to an injury that occurred within its purview. NADKOS INC. served as the general contractor for CHESAKL ENTERPRISES, INC., assuming responsibility for insuring the construction site and all involved employees. In May 2015, an individual named Vafayev suffered an injury due to the general contractor's negligence.

Instances of negligence persisted, with a case in 2018 involving GIORGI CHADUNELI, who sustained injuries from an industrial steel beam at a facility controlled by CHESAKL ENTERPRISES, INC. (the parent company brought this particular claim). The accident occurred in an area that had long been recognized as dangerous and defective, yet no corrective actions were taken by the responsible company. While construction sites inherently pose risks, contractors are expected to minimize hazards, monitor work sites and personnel, restrict access to dangerous areas, and adhere to all relevant regulations and codes. Regrettably, CHESAKL ENTERPRISES INC. failed to implement such safety measures, resulting in another serious injury.

In 2022, a high-profile negligence case was heard in a U.S. Court, with Johanna Alexandra Palacios Guachilema as the plaintiff. Guachilema sustained injuries during her work, which involved the erection, demolition, repair, alteration, cleaning, or painting of buildings or structures at a construction project location. Her injuries led to a disability, primarily attributed to the unsafe work environment at the site, characterized by inadequate supervision and oversight of contractors' actions.

PRESTIGE AUTOMOTIVE CENTER, INC., an automotive repair business, held a long-term lease for a property that included an adjacent parking lot. CHESAKL ENTERPRISES, INC. was involved in a project to demolish the building and prepare the site for future high-rise construction. The company executed all these actions without the approval of the automotive repair firm and in defiance of a full-stop work order from the New York City Department of Buildings. The illegal and hazardous demolition caused damage to vehicles parked on the plaintiff's property and disrupted communication and internet service due to the damage to cables.

These actions brought the business to a complete standstill. The sealing of a manhole cover on the roof of the plaintiff's building rendered access impossible and created an unsafe condition at the site, violating the Building Code and the New York City Fire Department Code.
