“Thank you for supporting us during the war in Ukraine. Thanks to you, our house can be open to many people who are fleeing the conflict, who have lost their home and everything they had.

We are grateful for your support, because without it, we could not give the basic necessities of life to the refugees.”

Living Through a Crisis

A Lesson in Perseverance

The ongoing conflict in Ukraine continues to exact an enormous toll across the country, creating a humanitarian crisis that deepens with each passing day. The conflict has hollowed out communities. Those who remain face dire circumstances struggling to afford basic necessities, often choosing between buying food or critical medications. Beyond these material hardships, many Ukrainians grapple with profound trauma and isolation, creating an urgent need for both psychological and spiritual support.

The Sisters’ interventions are vital in addressing these critical needs in Ukraine. They provide holistic support, including medical care, emotional support, food, clothing, and childcare for vulnerable populations, such as children, the elderly, and families affected by the conflict. Their ministries and projects offer immediate relief and foster long-term resilience through rehabilitation, educational support, and community building. By remaining in their communities, the Sisters help restore dignity, promote well-being, and alleviate suffering, playing a crucial role in the social fabric of Ukraine during this crisis.
