Creid Surfaces Ltd is a multi-disciplined contractor specialising in refurbishment and new-build car parks for commercial and private clients. We have worked on prestigious projects throughout London and across the UK providing services as a turnkey contractor or on a standalone basis to assist main contractors, property management companies and owners.
We offer a full range of services, including concrete repair, car park deck coatings, waterproofing, refurbishment and asset maintenance. We have extensive experience in the reinforced concrete space and are able to provide design and construction methods to structurally strengthen existing buildings, essential for future-proofing car parks as the switch to EVs requires the strengthening of many existing structures to allow them to operate at current capacities, due to the increased weight of EVs.

A growing body of car park operators and owners will struggle with the increase in weight of customer cars, potentially reducing the allowable occupancy of existing facilities due to the constraints of the building design. We are able to carry out a structural analysis and provide tailored options to increase the load capacity of a structure, using existing construction methods applied in a practicable way which often does not require a facility to be closed during the works.

Creid Surfaces Ltd was founded to provide specialist surface solutions to the construction industry, architects and facility managers. Prior to starting the business our senior management worked for over 25 years in the civil engineering, groundworks and reinforced concrete sectors. As our business has grown we have increasingly specialised in these areas of expertise; we are frequently brought in by clients to solve the problems they encounter when attempting to refurbish or constructing their facilities. This has lead to us being awarded a number of significant projects where we are trusted partners to deliver groundworks, reinforced concrete and structural alterations on a subcontract basis or as a principal contractor. Our works are carried out by our own hugely experienced team and are served by our extensive plant fleet. Structural Strengthening and Alterations Many existing car parks in the UK are reaching the end of their design life, due to the increased load expectations of EVs, which can be up to 33 per cent heavier than traditional internal combustion engine cars.
Creid Surfaces Ltd have a wealth of experience in structural alterations and structural strengthening. We are able to provide fully designed solutions to increase the loadbearing capacity of, or change in use of, existing reinforced concrete, steel frame or hybrid structures including foundation strengthening. We can offer this as a standalone service or as part of a turnkey refurbishment package. We carry our own fleet of diamond cutting and preparation equipment and our directlyemployed workforce have up-to-date training and certification meaning we are able to deliver on our commitments without relying on third party sub-contractors.

Concrete Repair, Protection and Waterproofing Creid Surfaces Ltd have provided extensive concrete repair and protection services as a standalone package or as part of a wider scope on projects throughout the UK to car park, marine and concrete structures. We can quote for solutions based on the findings of existing surveys or alternatively we can commission surveys as part of an assessment to upgrade or repair an existing building. Our independence (as a nonmanufacturer of the materials we choose to use) allows us to seek the best and often most economical solutions for each project challenge and the problems we are tasked with rectifying. We can also provide professional indemnity for the design and installation of our work.
Waterproofing Creid Surfaces Ltd have applied waterproofing for both new build and retrofit applications. We work with the leading manufacturers and are regularly promoted as approved contractors where their products are specified. As a result of these relationships we are well placed to advise on the best products to suit site-specific problems. This work is often carried out as part of our project framework in new build construction or as part of our refurbishment work where we are solving greater issues involving concrete repair or car park deck coatings.

Construction of New Build Groundworks and Structures With more than 25 years’ experience delivering civil engineering, basement and reinforced concrete structures throughout the UK, including both precast and cast in place reinforced concrete, we are the contractor of choice for car park structures.
Creid Surfaces Ltd has built on this experience by working on projects to extend existing structures and to construct new buildings including the groundworks and superstructure packages.
