Welcome The Danish Data Center Industry (DDI) is the not-for-profit industry body representing the Danish data center ecosystem.

About us

As the industry association, we represent the interests of both the private sector and public sector, including operators, vendors, educational institutions, municipalities and utility companies.

Together we work to meet the needs of the data center industry by highlighting our ecosystem, influencing regulations, improving competencies, and sharing knowledge.

Get involved DDI’S working groups are actively supporting and developing the work across DDI’s three core pillars; Energy & Sustainability, Skills & Education and Legal Frameworks. Members of DDI are free to join the working groups and become involved in the various ongoing projects.

Skills & Education

Focuses on bridging the gap between the educational sector and the domestic data center industry via seminars, conferences, workshops and thought leadership.

Energy & Sustainability

Focuses on driving development and innovations in the fields of energy efficiency and sustainability, which will help drive the decarbonization of the sector in Denmark.

Framework Conditions & Public Affairs

Focuses on supporting the industry, by highlighting the economic impact and importance of digital infrastructure for the economy, ensuring that Denmark stays competitive regarding digital infrastructure legislation impacting sustainability and operational costs related to energy prices, taxes and other framework conditions that might impact the domestic sector.

Strategic Positioning

Focuses on working on initiatives that highlight the strategic importance of Denmark as a data center location and to promote import/export opportunities. Supporting the efforts by Invest in Denmark and other strategic partners in Denmark and abroad, will ensure that Denmark stays competitive when it comes to investments and location strategies.
