The original Oyster Bar concept was created in the heart of Adelaide’s CBD, and replicated at nearby Glenelg when the marina in Holdfast Shores was completed in 2001.

Jarrad’s father bought the Holdfast Shores restaurant in 2007, and Jarrad and Kirsty soon joined the team in management roles.

“Jarrad’s dad decided he wanted to sell the business in February 2010 and Jarrad and myself loved the concept and business so much we decided to buy the business off him

and further grow and implement our ideas and passion for food and wine.”

The brand grew with the opening of the Mandurah Oyster Bar in May 2011, and most recently the Darwin venue in June.

“The business concept and menu perfectly lends itself to beautiful waterfront locations, sensational views and a relaxing atmosphere, so we saw Darwin as the perfect place, but most importantly, we wanted to bring what we are passionate about to the Darwin Waterfront.”

As well as great food and wine, Oyster Bar serves up live music on Wednesday and Friday nights, and Sunday afternoons.
