Our custom designed disc brake rim is dedicated for those gravity riders who prize the strength and durability above all else. Shield is back to our roots of wide and strong rims dedicated for the most aggressive riding! Perfect for Downhill, Freeride or Dirt Jumping. The rim is made of the 6061 T6 aluminium with a strong sleeved joint connection. Thanks to its wide profile the tire stays safe on the rim even when riding through tight berms at low pressure. The thick side walls and wide lips minimize the risk of pinch flats. For the Shield rim we use hi-end water stickers and post-bending matt anodizing or premium painted colors including Red Devil, Miami Vice or new Cyan-Lime. Shield can be used as tubeless ready rim.
