MORE THAN A FESTIVAL: SUMMER SCHOOL COURSES

The events in this brochure are part of Dartington’s world-famous Music Summer School: a four-week residential programme of courses by day and concerts by night.

Our courses are taught by the same incredible artists who you’ll see appearing onstage in our festival. Whatever your age or musical ability, there’s a course for you, with classes in all styles of music.

If you fancy something a bit different, we also have writing, radio and film making courses built into the programme.

Immerse yourself for a week

Purchase a week-long Courses & Concerts pass; choose up to three courses and come to any of the concerts for an intensive week of music-making.

Stay with us in our full-board accommodation, from simple hostel-style rooms to our beautiful medieval courtyard. Or for a cost- effective musical holiday, pitch a tent at Camp Dartington, set on our beautiful estate in the South Hams.

Dip your toe in the water

If you live locally, or are staying in the area, you can sign up for a single course for a week. It’s the ideal way to try Summer School as part of your holiday or alongside daily life.
