October, eh? It’s one of those months that we sometimes see as drifting between the summer and Christmas, not offering much in terms of exciting events other than Halloween. But as you’ll see when you flick through the latest issue of your favourite free monthly community magazine, that certainly isn’t the case in Darlington! The truth is that the town remains as lively as ever, hosting all manner of events as listed in our ‘What’s on’ section (page 46), while local artists are celebrating the decision to launch a new exhibition space in the Victorian Market Hall (page 42). But even if you aren’t likely to be ‘out and about’ much this month, don’t worry, as you can always just curl up on the sofa and enjoy the stimulating articles and features we have for you in this edition of Darlington Monthly.
