March is one of those awkward times of year when it can seem like there’s not a huge amount going on – until Mother’s Day on the 31st, of course. But as ‘The Beast from the East’ last year showed us, March can throw up a few surprises despite the emerging spring. It’s just as well, then, that whatever the weather throws at you this month, you’ll always have your copy of Darlington Monthly to peruse. Flick to our What’s On section on page 46, for instance, and you’ll see that there’s plenty to see and do in our area during March, whatever your tastes.
