An annual Marathon event that brings together professional, amateur and fun runners under one roof. This year the event will take place on 4th - 5th September 2021 at Mugumu, Serengeti from 7am. The run will be of a half marathon, 10Km and 5.2km fun runs and it will later be advanced to a full Marathon run. This event will allow participants to not just witness the animal migration but be part of it by running between the groups of migrating wild animals along the Serengeti National Park. Participants will include both local and foreign, however; there will be special fun runs for local companies, institutions and special groups for special courses. It is organized by the Serengeti Tourism Sports Agency (SETSA) which uses sports to promote tourism along the western side of the Serengeti National Park. We are very excited to announce a classical live music festival “Marafiki Music festival” that will take place on 7-9 Oct 2021. Marafiki Music Festival gives opportunities to young and emerging bands and artists to showcase their work.
