The 2025 Pennsylvania Farm Show was abundant with everlasting memories and gratification for our FFA chapter. Our members received a multitude of awards, from making sales to Keystone Degrees. There were various opportunities for members to show off their skills, a highlight being all of the horticulture displays! Our members dedicated many hours to the Farm Show so that it could become a phenomenal experience for the public.

The final product!
To showcase this, the group devised a layout that included a flower cart at the end of a path, preceded by rows of raised flower beds. This also works eloquently with the theme for the Farm Show, “Powering Pennsylvania”. Floriculture is a booming industry in this state. There are several small and large businesses focused on selling flowers, and a whole host of related careers one can go into in PA.
Over the past few months, a wonderful group of Cumberland Valley FFA members came together and fabricated a decadent Landscape design. This design was showcased for all of Pennsylvania at the 2025 PA Farm Show
The theme this year was “Line and Texture” and this group came up with the proposal to represent the spring sale that we host every year.

FFA members had the opportunity to attend the Farm Show and assist at the information booth. They provided valuable support by answering questions about the history of exhibits and helping visitors locate specific displays. Their knowledge and dedication ensured that all problems were addressed with accuracy and enthusiasm.
This was a grand experience for the plant science classes at Cumberland Valley, showing their skills and being recognized at the 2025 PA Farm Show!
To get more involved in the Farm Show, the plant science classes were given the unique opportunity to make a horticulture design to enter a competition. Students were allowed to make a terrarium, a Valentine's Day arrangement, or even a dish garden!
