Welcome Back To School!
Summer is invigorating for our members since they finally have a break from homework. They can snooze, go to the beach, or spend time watching their favorite TV shows. While most students spent their summer this way, some FFA members volunteered to stay dynamic locally and seek after their interests. There were 3 significant FFA occasions this previous summer: The Pennsylvania FFA State Convention, the Shippensburg Fair, and the Summer Officer Retreat.

State Convention
State Convention was a huge success for the Cumberland Valley chapter this year! We had 6 State Champions who will advance to the National FFA Convention in October. We also had great accomplishments in the Proficiency Award categories, with 7 of our FFA members claiming the State Champion title.

Award Winners Grand Entrance
Our chapter had a great showing at the 2024 Pennsylvania FFA State Convention!

Congratulations to our FFA members on a great year and proudly representing Cumberland Valley High School, CV 9th Grade Academy, Eagle View Middle School, and Mountain View Middle School!
We wish all teams who made it to Big E and Nationals the best of luck!

Shippensburg Fair
This year at the annual Shippensburg fair, several of our very own Cumberland Valley FFA members participated in showing their livestock. This event occurred on July 21st through July 27th. At the fair, there were fun activities for all! There were rides, great food, and most importantly, the many animals!
Shippensburg Fair
As the 2024 Shippensburg Fair came to a close, a few Cumberland Valley FFA members got to come home with awards for their excellent showmanship. A few honorable mentions from the results of the fair are Joleigh Nailor for receiving Showmanship Overall Champion for Market Steers, along with Olivia Keifer for placing Overall Champion in the Skillathon for the Rabbit Show.

Summer Officer Retreat

24-25 Officer Team!
Over this past summer, the FFA Leadership Team gathered together to plan some exciting events that will take place over the 2024-2025 FFA school year. The team thought up some spectacular ideas to get our FFA members more involved and engaged, so make sure to watch out to see what we have planned for the year!

In In Conclusion... Conclusion...
Our Cumberland Valley FFA members have worked long and hard this summer. Each event was a success and several of our members won at all of the different competitions and shows!
We can’t wait to see what th 2024-2025 school year brings our Cumberland Valley FFA Chapter!
Thank Thank you! you!
