Dare to Dream is a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to giving youth and their families opportunities to learn, play, discover and grow through theatre. Programs are designed by formally trained and educated theater professionals to create nurturing opportunities for personal growth and stimulate creative thinking. Here, all children are equal and free to explore. There are no wrong answers, or unhealthy competition. Only the chance to explore imagination, exercise creativity, and discover a little more about oneself and the world around.

Dare to Dream offers a safe and caring environment for all children, whether healthy or at-risk, socially adept or challenged, to develop their imagination and creativity by learning fun theatre skills, making new friends and working together to perform for family and friends.

DIRECTOR’S NOTE

Today we’d like to welcome you to the Theatre, a second home for the past two months for over 75 young people and the incredible adults who love and support them!

Amidst the chaos of day to day life, we often get caught up in the “Cyclone of Busyness” and find ourselves dreaming of someplace where life could be calmer, brighter, and more colorful than what we might perceive our daily life to be. But no matter the chaos, its nice to be reminded that “There’s No Place Like Home”.

Over the past two months I’ve had the joy of creating art and bringing the story of The Wizard of Oz to life with these amazing young performers. Together we have learned the value and joy of hard work. We have tried new things, made new friends, grown both as performers and people and, we have discovered along with Dorothy that home is not a place, but a feeling. The feeling of being surrounded by people who love and support you, celebrating your accomplishments and encouraging you through the tough spots as you learn valuable life lessons.

CARTER ALBRECHT (Flying Monkey, Tornado)

Carter is a 2nd grader at Northview Elementary in Howards Grove. He is very excited to be in his first show with Dare to Dream Theatre. He enjoys bird hunting with his dog Lolli, playing piano, baseball, and taking trips to the beach.

ALIZA ARDOIN (Munchkin Ensemble)

Aliza is in 2nd grade and this is her debut performance with Dare to Dream Theatre. Aliza loves playing shops with her friends, her pet (Lord Peanut) and her sisters. She loves spending time with family.

EMILIA ARDOIN (Tornado, Ozian)

Emilia is in fourth grade and has a guinea pig named Lord Peanut. She loves gymnastics, Harry Potter and playing with her friends. She’s excited to be in her first show with her friends from the neighborhood.

SHELBY ARGUE (Tornado, Flying Monkey)

Shelby is a second grader at Random Lake elementary. She is excited to be in her second show with Dare to Dream Theatre. When not on stage, Shelby loves horses, music, and art.

WYATT ARGUE (Tornado, Flying Monkey)

Wyatt is a kindergartener at Random Lake Elementary. This is his second show with Dare to Dream Theatre. Wyatt loves animals, riding his bike, and the color green.

CLIFTON BARTELS (Tornado, Winkie)

Clifton is a 6th grader at Etude middle school. This is his 3rd show with Dare to Dream Theatre. When not performing he enjoys video games, cats, quantum mechanics, and occasionally biking.

RAYNE BELTRAN (Ozian)

Rayne is a 4th grader at Sheboygan Falls Elementary School. This is her debut performance with Dare To Dream Theatre and is loving every minute of it! She also enjoys roller skating, ice skating, and swimming. When at home, Rayne especially likes spending time with her two cats, and doing arts and crafts projects.

ADELINE BERTUCCI

(Tornado, Ozian, Crow, Jitterbug)

Adeline is a 5th grader at St. John Lutheran. She is very excited to be in her first show with Dare to Dream Theatre. When not performing she enjoys playing with her cat Piper, playing basketball and softball and reading.

KENNEDY BILLE

(Aunt Em, Ozian, Jitterbug)

Kennedy is a 5th grader at Sheboygan Falls Middle school. She has been performing on stage since she was 8 years old. When she’s not on stage, Kennedy enjoys playing basketball, playing video games, and reading.

AUSTYN

BONNETT (Tornado, Apple Tree, Ozian, Winkie)

Austyn, 13 is a student at St Paul’s Sheboygan. She enjoys playing the clarinet, running cross country and track, playing Volleyball, and being on student council. She has won numerus awards in arm wrestling. This is her 5th production with Dare to Dream Theatre.

CALYN CHANCELLOR

(Zeke, Ozian, Jitterbug)

Cali has been in 6 productions with Dare to Dream Theatre and two school productions including recently being Matilda. She loves to sing, dance, and grow closer to friends in productions. She hopes you enjoy the show!

AKIRA CURTIS (Munchkin Ensemble)

This is Akira’s first performance with Dare to Dream Theare. She is very excited and has dreamed about being on stage. She enjoys singing and Dancing, reading and skiing. She cannot wait for you to enjoy the wonderful performance!

ARIA CURTIS (Munchkin Ensemble)

This is Aria’s first performance with Dare to Dream Theatre. She is very excited to be part of the ensemble, and especially excited to perform along side her sister. She also enjoys: singing and putting on concerts with her sister, playing outside and Swimming.

LILY EBERT (Munchkin Coroner, Guard of Oz, Ozian)

Lily Jo Ebert is a 3rd grader at Kohler Elementary School. The Wizard of Oz production is her first show with the Dare to Dream Theatre. Lily loves to read, listen to music, and do crafts during her free time!

SCARLETT EBERT (Munchkin Ensemble)

Scarlett Lynn Ebert is a 1st grader at Kohler Elementary School. This is her very first play and she is excited that it is the Wizard of Oz. During her free time, Scarlett loves to listen to music, read, tell riddles, and cuddle with her mom and dad!

AUTUMN EMMER (Munchkin Ensemble)

Autumn is in 4K at Fairview Elementary School in Plymouth. This is her first show with Dare to Dream Theatre. When not performing, she enjoys dancing ballet, painting, and playing outside with her friends.

MORGAN EMMER (Crow, Jitterbug, Ozian)

Morgan is a 3rd grader at Fairview Elementary School in Plymouth. This is her first show with Dare to Dream Theatre. When not performing, she enjoys dancing ballet, jazz, and hip hop, drawing, swimming, and being with her friends.

BRIELLA EVENSON (Munchkin Lolipop Guild)

Briella is sweet, kind, and super funny. She is a first grader at Lake Country Academy. She has been in several Dare to Dream Theatre productions and hopes you really enjoy the show! When she’s not on stage she enjoys playing with her friends, hanging with her puppies and doing big messy art and science projects.

SYDONA EVENSON (Glinda the Good Witch)

Sydona Evenson is an eighth grader at Lake Country Academy. She’s been in several Dare to Dream performances. She enjoys singing, dancing, playing the guitar, drawing, baking, hanging out with her friends and spreading love and joy throughout the land!

JULIANA FOGARTY (Munchkin Lolipop Guild)

Juliana attends nature school at Maywood and loves hiking and exploring. She is excited to bring you along to the “merry old land of Oz”. This is her fourth show and the theatre is one of her favorite places to be!

KORA HAAG (Munchkin, Flying Monkey)

Kora is a kindergartener at SJL. She is very excited to be a part of her second show at Dare to Dream Theatre! When not performing she loves to entertain by putting on little shows for her family, playing with her Barbies, doing her version of science experiments, riding horses, taking her dog Bandit for walks, and playing with her sister!

MILIANA HAAG (Munchkin)

Mila is so excited to be a part of the show! She’s 3 years old and loves being on stage with her big sister. When not on stage Mila loves being silly, loves playing with all her toys, and loves her dog Bandit.

OLIVIA HACKBARTH (Munchkin Lullabye League)

Olivia is just about to finish her kindergarten year of school. She is so excited to return to the stage for her second performance with Dare to Dream Theatre! Olivia loves to sing and dance both on and off stage. She can’t wait to welcome you to Munchkinland as a representative of the Lullaby League.

KARINGTON HAEFKE (Tornado, Apple Tree, Ozian,

Winkie)

Karington is a 6th grader at Oostburg Middle School, returning for her second show with Dare to Dream Theatre. Offstage you’ll find her playing with her guinea pigs, mastering her strokes in the pool or creating little creatures with her crochet hook.

SYDNEY HAEFKE

(Tornado, Apple Tree, Ozian, Winkie)

Sydney is a spirited 4th grader from Oostburg Elementary, back for her second performance with Dare to Dream Theatre. When she’s not on stage you can find her on the soccer field, exploring the great outdoors or diving into the pool.

CLAIRE HEDLUND

(Munchkin Ensemble, Tree, Jitterbug)

Claire is very excited to make her acting debut in Dare to Dream Theatre’s production Wizard of Oz. She is a 5th grader at Kohler Elementary and participates in dance. She loves to hang out with her friends, listen to Taylor Swift, drawing and creative writing.

VIOLET HELD

(Munchkin Citizen, Ozian)

Violet is in third grade and is enjoying her first role on stage. She loves to read and is an avid tree climber.

VIVI

HOERTH ( Yellow Brick Road, Jitterbug, Ozian)

Vivi, a 5th grader at Kohler Elementary, is making her Dare to Dream Theatre debut! She has always enjoyed theater, having seen Lion King on Broadway in New York City and Aladdin in Chicago. In addition to performing, Vivi enjoys traveling, playing soccer, creating art, reading, playing the piano, and rock climbing.

HAILEY HOLM

(Tornado, Munchkin Barrister, Jitterbug, Ozian)

Hailey is a 3rd grader at Northview Elementary in Howards Grove. She is excited for her 3rd show with Dare to Dream Theatre. When she’s not on stage she loves to play piano, soccer and listen to music.

HANNAH

HOLM (Munchkin Lullabye League)

Hannah is a Kindergartener at Northview Elementary in Howards Grove. She’s excited for her 2nd show with Dare to Dream Theatre! While she is not on stage she loves playing soccer, basketball and dancing.

JAYLEIGH

HOSKINS (Miss Gultch, Wicked Witch)

Jayleigh is a sixth grader at Oostburg Middle School. She is excited to be in her sixth show with Dare to Dream Theatre. When not performing, she enjoys drawing, reading, writing, and singing.

EMERSON HUBERTY (Munchkin Citizen, Jitterbug, Ozian)

Emerson is in 5th Grade at Wilson Elementary. This is her third production with Dare To Dream Theatre. She loves being on stage, as well as playing trumpet and French horn. When not performing Emerson enjoys spending time with her family, playing with friends and crafting.

EMALYN HURST ( Yellow Brick Road, Crow, Jitterbug, Ozian)

Emalyn is a third grader at Sheboygan Falls Elementary School. This is her first musical, and she is eager to do many more in the future. In her free time, she enjoys Legos, reading, soccer, gymnastics, science, and spending time with friends and family.

NICELLA KAISER (Munchkin Ensemble)

Nicella is a 2nd grader at Trinity Lutheran. She is excited to be participating in her first Dare to Dream Theatre show. Nicella enjoys coloring, playing soccer, and playing with her friends and siblings.

ANNALISE KREGEL (Hickory, Jitterbug, Ozian, Winkie)

This is Anna’s 4th performance with Dare to Drean Theatre. She has previously performed in Finding Nemo, Fancy Nancy and BFG. She is an eighth grader at Howard’s Grove Middle School and is involved in choir and track. She has really enjoyed being a part of Dare to Dream.

JACOB

KREGEL (Uncle Henry, Ozian, Winkie)

Jacob is a 6th grader at Howard’s Grove Middle School. This is Jacob’s first performance with Dare to Dream Theatre. His hobbies include playing guitar, gaming, and creating videos for his You Tube channel.

PAYTON L a POINT

(Tornado, Yellow Brick Road, Ozian)

Payton is a 4th grader at Sheboygan Falls Elementary. She is excited to be in her 6th show with Dare to Dream Theatre! When not performing, Payton likes to read, be in nature, and do arts and crafts.

JASLYN LAUERSDORF (Dorothy Gale)

Jaslyn is an 8th grader at Sheboygan Falls Middle School. This is her 8th show overall and fourth show with Dare to Dream Theatre. When not involved with theater she dances ballet and pointe, plays the flute, and sings (especially classically).

ALIYA

MALONE ( Yellow Brick Road, Crow, Jitterbug, Ozian)

Aliya is in 4th grade and loves doing theater when she grows up she wants to be a choreographer. This will be her 8th production with Dare to Dream Theatre. When not doing theater she loves reading and playing with her brother.

CALLOWAY MALONE (Flying

Monkey)

Calloway is a fun energetic 4yr old. This will be his 3rd production with Dare to Dream Theatre and he’s excited to be the baby trouble maker monkey. When not on stage he’s always playing with the other kids and making everyone laugh.

VANESSA

MCALPINE (Tornado, Jitterbug, Ozian, Winkie)

Vanessa is a 7th grader at Oostburg Middle School. This is her fifth performance with Dare to Dream Theatre and she enjoys being on stage with her friends. When not performing, she enjoys socializing with her friends and rollerblading. In her free time, she likes cooking and can usually be found in the kitchen.

ANNA

McCORMICK (Tornado, Tapping Tree, Jittergug, Ozian)

Anna is a 4th grader at LCA! This is her 6th show with Dare to Dream Theatre. When not on stage, she enjoys flying her kite, dancing, and reading Harry Potter with her sister and Dad. Anna hopes you enjoy The Wizard Of Oz!

CAROLINE McCORMICK

(Munchkin Lullabye League, Tapping Tree, Jitterbug, Ozian)

CC is a 2nd grader at LCA. This is her 5th show with Dare to Dream Theatre and has loved being in all of them. When not performing, she loves reading, playing piano, playing with her sisters and kitty and anything Harry Potter!

KATE McCORMICK

(Munchkin Lollipop Guild)

Kate is a 4Ker at LCA. This is her 4th show with Dare to Dream Theatre. In her spare time, you could find her coloring, dancing to Taylor Swift, playing games, trying to make her family laugh or nuggling her BFF Bun Bun.

SKYLAR MONTAMBO

(Cowardly Lion)

Skylar is an 8th grader at Sheboygan Falls Middle School. She is very excited to be in her 8th production with Dare to Dream Theatre. When she is not performing, she is usually hanging out with friends or playing her trombone.

ZOE

MURPHY (Hunk, Apple Tree, Jitterbug, Ozian, Winkie)

Zoe is an 8th grader at Sheboygan Falls Middle School. She is elated to be in her 7th Dare to Dream Theatre production (10th show overall). When not on stage, or behind the scenes, Zoe enjoys reading, making art, playing with her cats, and hanging out with her friends.

EDDIE NEVERS

(Tornado, Flying Monkey)

Edward (Eddie) Nevers is excited to be a part of his fourth musical in his roles as a flying monkey. Eddie is in second grade at Northview Elementary School in Howards Grove. In addition to performing, Eddie loves fishing, soccer, basketball, and spending time with his family.

CARTER NIEMOJUSKI

(Munchkin Lolipop Guild)

Carter is a 5 year old Kindergartner at Jackson Elementary School. Carter is so excited to be a lollipop munchkin in his very first Dare to Dream Theatre production. In his free time he loves learning, building with his magnet blocks and doing his amazing art work.

PAYTON NOWAK (Tornado, Jitterbug,

Ozian)

Payton is a 4th graders at sheboygan falls elementary school. This is her first time being in a play but she enjoys acting out movies and TV scenes at home. She also loves a variety of sports.

VIVIANA PEREZ (Tornado,

Yellow Brick Road, Jitterbug, Ozian)

Vivi is a 3rd grader at Kohler Elementary School. She is so thrilled to be part of this amazing show. This is Vivi’s 4th Dare to Dream Theatre production. In her free time, Vivi loves gymnastics, soccer, theater, and spending time with family and friends.

AMELIA RANDALL (Munchkin Ensemble)

Amelia is a 2nd grader at Northview Elementary School. Amelia is excited to be in her second Dare to Dream Theatre performance. Amelia enjoys singing, dancing and performing plays for her family.

AUBREE RANDALL (Munchkin Ensemble)

Aubree is a first grader at Northview Elementary School. Aubree is excited to be in her second performance with Dare to Dream Theatre. Aubree loves singing, dancing, performing and making others laugh.

LORELAI RESPALJE (Munchkin Ensemble)

Lorelai is a kindergartener at Sheridan Elementary School. This is her 2nd show with Dare to Dream Theatre because she loves to dance and sing on stage. When not performing, she loves to build with legos, look at books, color with her sister Danielle and play games.

ROSALIND RIES (Flying Monkey)

Rosalind, 3 yo, when not searching for dinosaurs or releasing the guinea pig, Lord Peanut, she enjoys chasing her sisters and neighborhood friends. This is her stage premiere and in the future she would like to be Spiderman.

CATHERINE RISSEEUW (Yellow Brick Road,

Jitterbug, Ozian)

Catherine is a 5th grader at Kohler Elementary School. This is her fourth play with Dare to Dream Theatre. When not acting, she enjoys figure skating, swimming, reading, crafting and spending time with family and friends.

KAITLYN SCHMITT

(Munchkin Lullabye League, Ozian)

Kaitlyn is a 2nd grader at Cooper Elementary School. This is her first time in a performance with Dare to Dream Theatre. She is very excited! Outside of plays, she enjoys spending time playing with her friends and family, swimming, dancing, and gymnastics.

ADELINE SCHROEDER

Adeline is a 2nd grader at Kohler Elementary School. This is her first performance with Dare to Dream Theatre. In addition to her acting debut in Wizard of Oz, she’s busy dancing (Hip Hop and Poms), playing soccer and basketball, and spending time with family and friends.

Alaska is a kindergartener at SJL and this is her second production with Dare to Dream Theatre. In her spare time she likes to dance, do crafts and spend time with family and friends.

OLIVIA SMITH (Tornado,

Olivia is a 5th grader at Kohler Elementary school. She is very excited to be in her 1st show with Dare to Dream Theatre. Olivia also enjoys playing tennis, playing with her dog Buddy, and rollerblading with her friends.

LEON TORRES SHORT

(Tornado, Flying Monkey Nikko)

Leon is a 3rd grader at Sheridan Elementary School. This is Leon’s second show with Dare to Dream Theatre. Off stage, Leon loves to explore outdoors, enjoys playing soccer and basketball, and likes to play board games.

SELAH TORRES SHORT

(Tapping Tree, Jitterbug, Ozain)

Selah is a 4th grader at Sheridan Elementary School. This is Selah’s third show with Dare to Dream Theatre. Off stage, Selah is an avid reader, enjoys playing soccer and basketball, and is a social butterfly with family and friends.

BROOKLYN

VELIER (Munchkin, Jitterbug, Wizard of Oz)

Brooklyn is a 3rd grader at Trinity Lutheran School - Sheboygan. This is her 2nd show with Dare to Dream Theatre. She has really enjoyed the experience and new friends. When not performing she enjoys crafting, camping and family game nights. Enjoy the show!

MARIS

VOLLMER (Tornado, Jitterbug, Ozian, Winkie Leader)

Maris is 14 years old and an 8th grader at Sheboygan Falls Middle School. The Wizard of Oz will be her 6th show with Dare to Dream Theatre, and her 10th show overall. In her free time, she enjoys singing and drawing.

CASEN WEAVERS

Casen is a 3rd grader at Oostburg elementary. Casen is excited to be in his first performance with Dare to Dream Theatre. When he is not performing, Casen enjoys soccer, hanging out with friends, and playing video games.

COHEN WEAVERS

(Tin Man)

Cohen is a 6th grader at Oostburg Middle School. Cohen is very excited to be in his first performance with Dare to Dream Theatre! When he is not performing, Cohen enjoys soccer, track, wrestling, performing for Sheboygan Chorale and spending time with friends and family.

CAMPBELL

WEBER (Tornado, Flying Monkey)

Campbell is a Kindergartener from Parkview Elementary School in Plymouth. She loves to dance, do art, play outside, and try new things! This is her second Dare to Dream Theatre show, and she is excited to be a part of Oz!

SYDNEY

WEBER (Scarecrow)

Sydney is in 7th grade at Riverview Middle School. She has been in two other Dare to Dream Theatre shows, the most recent being Bagheera in The Jungle Book. Sydney loves to be on stage and sings any chance she gets. When not performing, she also plays club volleyball, Pumas Fastpitch Softball, and is an awesome big sister to her 3 younger siblings!

KATELYN

WILLOUGHBY (Tornado, Apple Tree, Jitterbug)

Katelyn is a 4th grader at Oostburg Elementary School. She is excited to be in her third play with Dare to Dream Theatre. Katelyn is also in softball, dance, and piano.

FRITZ

WILSON (Munchkin Citizen)

Fritz is a second grader at Lincoln Erdman. He is thrilled to be back for his third show with Dare to Dream Theatre. Fritz previously played Sheldon in Finding Nemo and participated in Rainbow Fish. He is so excited to part of the Wizard of Oz.

OLIVER

WILSON (Munchkin Lolipop Guild)

Oliver is a kindergartener at Lincoln Erdman. He is excited to be in his second show with Dare to Dream Theatre. Oliver was previously in Finding Nemo. Oliver loves to dance and sing, so he is thrilled to be part of the Wizard of Oz.

Audrey is excited to be part of The Wizard of Oz after debuting with Dare to Dream Theatre in the BFG. In her free time, Audrey enjoys reading Percy Jackson, acting, and playing with her dog, Walter.

AMELIA

WRAY (Munchkin Ensemble)

Amelia is a kindergartener at Lincoln-Erdman, and this is her second time performing with Dare to Dream Theatre. She embodies the cheerful, endearing spirit (and size) of a munchkin in all her favorite activities, including singing, dancing, crafting, cooking, exploring, storytelling, and playing with friends and family.

Rachel is pleased to spend her time working with children and theatre, helping them find the magic in themselves and discover their dreams. With a lifelong passion for theatre and the wonder of the arts, Rachel spends time onstage (when possible) offstage (as Artistic Director for Dare to Dream Theatre) in front of the camera (as an actor in regional film/television projects) and backstage (doing whatever needs to be done!) Rachel has a BA in Theatre from Wisconsin Lutheran College. For over 20 years, Dare to Dream Theatre has been a labour of love for Rachel, and she treasures the many people who have joined her in this dream over the years. She is proud of the growth she sees every day from the talented young people she works with, and can’t wait to be a part of their journey as they continue to Dare to Dream!

AARON FRYE Music

Director

Aaron graduated from the University of Wisconsin - Green Bay with a BM in Music Education (Choral/General Music), and a BA of Music Composition in May of 2020. He currently is a K-5 Elementary General Music Teacher at James Madison Elementary School within the Sheboygan Area School District. Aaron also sings and serves as a Board Member within the Lakeshore Chorale Organization since 2021. This is his second production with Dare to Dream Theatre working as the Music Director.

SARAH YUDKOVITCH Choreographer

Sarah is ecstatic to have been a part of crafting the wonderful world of Oz! She has been involved as both an actor and a choreographer in many different shows across Wisconsin. Some of her favorite stage credits include Penelope Pennywise (Lake Country Playhouse, Urinetown), Placecard Girl (Lakeland Players, Reefer Madness), Mrs Darbus (Forte Theatre, HSM) and Blackstache (Starcatcher, Waukesha Civic). Some of her favorite choreography credits include Reefer Madness and Suessical. She has loved working on this show and hopes you enjoy your trip down the yellow brick road!

AMANDA JOHNSON

Costume Designer

Amanda Johnson DeWall is a graduate of Valparaiso University. She’s worked with Dare to Dream Theatre on many shows over the years, including Frozen, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, Finding Nemo JR, and Tuck Everlasting. She spends her spare time adding glitter and spikes to anything anyone leaves within arms’ reach.

LEE KOEPPEN

Master Builder

Lee is handy with tools and happy when the set is safe and ready to go. He’s built sets, set pieces and occasional props for shows from Jungle Book to The Tempest. This is Lee’s 8th production as the Dare to Dream Theatre Master Builder, and 10th show with us, overall.

ERICH SCHMIDT

Technical Director

Erich Schmidt has been running sound for 9 years after taking a position as teacher at Sheboygan Lutheran High School. He has worked with Dare to Dream Theatre for Moana JR, Freaky Friday, Jungle Book KIDS, Finding Nemo JR, Tuck Everlasting, Fancy Nancy, and The BFG (Big Friendly Giant). He enjoys overseeing the technical side of productions. This allows him to work with the performers to make their hard work heard and seen by everyone.

Kim is a Manager of Financial Services at Children’s WI. Kim loves the theater and was in 8 productions while in high school. She is excited to help with her 6th show with Dare to Dream Theatre and is thankful to experience theater with her daughter who is a cast member. In her free time, Kim enjoys spending time with her husband Dan, daughter Payton, and son Connor.
