- Offices for W.I.S.H.
- Transitioner Housing
What it looks like now:
- The ground floor and walls are up on all Phase 1 buildings
- This month the roofs are being built
The Building Process:
-Implementation of modern technology
-Built with locally available materials
-The construction employs 120 locals
-Earthquake safe buildings
-Enhanced water security via rain water harvesting and a borehole
-New elephant migration paths established to protect local wildlife
-Solar-lit paved pathways enhance campus safety
-Buildings are ADA-friendly, with more improvements planned for the future
-Focused on sustainability with solar, grey water systems, and no plastics
The Women of Integrity, Strength, and Hope (W.I.S.H.) Program Outreach has expanded and is now being taught at 11 secondary schools in Kenya.
