A Reportage of New Orleans Cemeteries
New Orleans cemeteries are spaces of above-ground design intricacies, otherwise hidden beneath the dirt. Using the categories defined by Kevin Lynch’s Image of the City, these sketches explore cemeteries at multiple scales-- revealing features of human interaction, architectural organization, unique landmarks, materiality, and relationships to surrounding and varying urban context.
