I’m August Ellery an atelier founder with thirty years of shaping and defining some of the most memorable brands you may know The Cozèrie is my newest chapter: a cultivated library of essentials fragrance, personal care, candles and keepsake packaging always created with a nod to timelessness and collectibility in mind
What you’ll find in these pages is what I love to do: designing outstanding luxury fragrances, modern clean formulas (no parabens, no phthalates, organics whenever we can), and the lush creams and bubble baths I’ve long been trusted for

INGREDIENTS (1 COCKTAIL)
2 oz (60 ml) London dry gin
¾ oz (22 ml) fresh lemon juice
½ oz (15 ml) lavender honey syrup (recipe on right)
¼ oz (7 ml) dry curaçao (or Cointreau)
1 dash orange bitters
Optional, for a softer “steady hand”: ½ oz (15 ml) chilled dry champagne to top

SHOPKEEPER’S STEADY HAND COCKTAIL
A modern lavender-citrus nightcap with a 1920s twist
METHOD
Chill your coupe.
Shake gin, lemon, lavender honey syrup, curaçao, and bitters with ice until frosty. Double-strain into the chilled glass.
(Optional) Finish with a restrained splash of dry champagne. Garnish.
Flavor notes

Lavender Honey Syrup (Make-Ahead)
½ cup (120 ml) water
½ cup (170 g) honey
1–1½ tsp culinary-grade dried lavender buds*
Warm water and honey just to dissolve (do not boil). Stir in lavender; cover and steep 15 minutes (taste at 10 lavender gets assertive fast). Strain very well. Chill. Keeps 2 weeks.
*If using fresh lavender, triple the amount and steep only 5–7 minutes
SUBSTITUTE FOR DRIED LAVENDER:
Add 2–3 drops of lavender extract to plain honey syrup (1:1 sugar:water) and stir start small, taste, adjust

If you don’t have a lavender sprig, use: Lemon twist (express oils over the drink and discard or drape on rim)

PLANT AROMATICS INCENSE
Created with a deep respect for time-honored traditions
Our incense is a refined blend of raw ingredients: aromatic plants, spices, herbs, tree saps, fragrant woods, and flower petals. Most importantly, our incense is never dipped into chemicals.
Natural ingredients are ground into a powder form and mixed with honey, coconut, charcoal and aromatic oils to make a dough like mixture "atta". This pliable dough is then hand-rolled onto a plain bamboo stick and coated with aromatic wood powder.
In every stick, discover the artistry of fine, clean ingredients and the serenely calming effects of our plant aromatics.
