IQ-Pumpen er en intelligent, fuldautomatisk pumpe til dynamiske madrasser, som selv indstiller til borger og ikke kræver manuelle indstillinger. Den giver et konstant, pulserende tryk, som sikrer optimal trykfordeling. Pumpen er lydsvag, fleksibel, giver frie varme hænder og er gennemtestet.

På hvilken måde er produktet nyskabende? IQ Pumpen er en intelligent, fuldautomatisk pumpe til dynamiske madrasser. Det er den første pumpe på markedet. Den leverer et jævnt, pulserende tryk, som er anderledes end vekseltryk ved at lave mindre trykforskel af de bærende og aflastende luftceller. Der er foretaget kliniske studier af pulsations trykaflastende virkning og øgede komfort – Worsley et.al., EPUAP 2021.

The pump is equipped with a pulsating mode that gives a lower maximum pressure against the skin.The pump is quit, flexible, clinical tested and leaves more time for patient care.

Novelty Value

In what way is the product innovative? The IQ pump is the first intelligent, 100% automatic pump for dynamic mattresses. The pump regulates independently and without manual adjustment. It has a pulsating mode where the pressure alternates and cells are emptied, but not completely. The clinical effect of the pulsating mode has been investigated in scientific studies – Worsley et.al., EPUAP 2021.

Target Group and Product Utility

What user group is the product intended for and what benefit can the user get from the product? Patients with or high risk of developing severe pressure ulcers. With the pulsating mode the patient gets a lower maximum pressure against the skin and increased comfort. In what way does the product support the user’s opportunity for participation and independence? The pump is silent with a sound level of only 16,5 dBA. The pump meets the standard EN ISO 11201:2010. The automatic system makes repositioning easy. To which part of the market is the product addressed? Hospitals, nursing homes, private homes, rehabilitation centres. Does the product reach a broad target group? Many areas of the healthcare sector. Note target groups: All kind of patients with risk of developing pressure ulcers.
