Vpliv coaching miselnosti na kakovost coachinga

initiative has to come from within, began the narration of my intuitive personal transformation by telling a story of the journey back to true Self, which begins on the night of the New Moon in the historical and spiritual gem of Peru – Machu Picchu – and ends with a 30-day Camino pilgrimage with the finish point at the end of the world in Finisterre, Spain.

Developed in a completely natural course, inspirational thoughts listed for every day of the year kept me company through the daily challenges of the Way. The journey through broad Spanish provinces, the uncompromising Pyrenees and challenging climate circumstances, quite unusual and extreme for Spanish spring, mirrored the journey through the labyrinth of my own soul, with caring attention to all the darkest corners relieving the pain coming form years of not being true to myself.

Most interesting but also highly expected outcome of the journey was as much factual as it was spiritual. An 800-kilometer walk conquered in 30 days was a project. It had to be divided into tasks and reached through precise goal-setting technique, one day at a time, adapting to the current weather and terrain circumstances and facing the daily trial of gathering the strength to overcome the psycho-physical challenges.

Soon it became clear that the project was very similar to any other professional project. So, the opportunity to take mindful notes and apply them to the corporate world presented itself.

6 The Topics covered in The Storyteller approach (Coaching through Storytelling) and their application in Authentic Leadership Workshops:

- Looking for positivity in every day by seeking for inspirations – to improve wellbeing and productivity along with staying more open to new innovations, suggestions, ideas.

- Getting physically in shape for the 'pilgrimage' through improving lifestyle habits – such as getting ready for a new project by gathering new knowledge or information.

- Learning how to take the seemingly impossible task one small step at a time and complete it successfully.

- Realizing what is important in life and losing all the unnecessary emotional, spiritual and physical “luggage” – just as in business projects where we so often have to let our ego break to reach the aim.

- Keeping the faith in the higher purpose, following it and being able to reach it with the deepest trust and devotion – just as an employee should believe in corporate values and follow them without questioning them.

7 How an Executive, a Leader, or a Manager Can Benefit from the Storyteller Services

Aligned with the notes taken throughout the Storyteller Project, the focus is set on the authentic leadership approaches, appreciative inquiry, positive psychology and wellbeing support to the entire organization, from top to bottom.

As an executive takes the first initiative by becoming healthier, stronger, more resistant, patient, and consequently more successful, the aspiration will be spread vertically and horizontally across the organizational structure.

8 The Storyteller closing message: Pay it Forward, Inspire the World

At the end, inspirations that I have collected make for almost 32 percent of the countries registered on the United Nations list. The data listed statistically confirms that the 365 Project is global and that the Storyteller is a narrative of the citizens of the world.

While reading the inspiring thoughts that I later on captured in my first book called The Storyteller (www.pripovedovalka-zgodb.si), we do not see an actual person, therefore their personality, skin color, cul-
