And remember that one time I got into a fight at school and got suspended? I thought you’d kick me out, But you didn’t.

I’ll never forget the time That I got drunk and threw up on our floor. I thought you’d disown me, But you didn’t.

There were so many things You didn’t do, But you cared for me, And raised me to be The man I am today.

There were a lot of things I wanted to Make up to you when you Returned from Iraq. But you didn’t.
