Prep for the CFA. In 2014, this Daniels degree was accepted into the CFA Institute University Recognition Program, which is granted to institutions whose degree program incorporates at least 70% of the CFA Program Candidate Body of Knowledge.

Build your résumé. Manage a portion of the University’s endowment fund, valued at one million dollars, in our Marsico Fund course. Compete in the Global CFA Institute Challenge, join the Investment Banking and Capital Markets Club or participate in the Mergers and Acquisitions Competition.

It STEMs from substance. This program is a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) designated degree certified by the Department of Homeland Security, which means F-1 Nonimmigrant Students qualify for up to a 17-month extension of Optional Practical Training (OPT).

AT A GLANCE This 45-57*-credit program can be pursued on a full or part-time basis. Most students earn their degree in 15 months, but you also have the flexibility to move at your own pace. *Students who pass waiver exams may opt out of some or all of the Finance prerequisite courses.

Program Curriculum: The Master of Science in Applied Quantitative Finance has three components: Finance Prerequisites (12 credits), Finance Core (25 credits) and Electives (20 credits).

GMAT/GRE: GMAT or GRE required Program Start Dates: Fall (September) and Spring (March) Tuition: $1,258 per credit hour plus program fees*. This program is eligible for the University Flat Rate—a cost saving plan that rewards taking more than 12 credits per quarter. With this rate, you pay full price for the first 12 credits taken in a quarter and receive any further credits (up to 18) within that quarter at no additional cost. *Tuition and fees are subject to change. Any change in fees begins with the fall quarter and ends with the summer quarter.

Financial Aid & Scholarships: In Fall 2016, 86% of accepted Daniels graduate students received merit-based PMBA scholarships. Third-party scholarships, government student loans, private loans, and military/GI benefits are also available.
