and Danielle Jones of DanieBJones Events LLC, Black Owned Small Business Expo (BOSB) gives black small business owners a place to collaborate, network, sell and promote their products and services to an audience specifically designed for them. Recently, the BOSB Expo has expanded to include small business resources to help start-up businesses and entrepreneurs explore the possibilities and opportunities that are available to them. We now also offer workshops and seminars geared toward business and personal development to further encourage all attendees teach for their goals. The BOSB Expo is held twice annually - once in the spring and the Saturday following Black Friday (Also known as Small Business Saturday).

This fall we partnered with Black Professional Men Inc. to bring our attendees and small business owners twice the resources and opportunities. This partnership shows two organizations working together in the best interest of the community to provide education and help to CHANGE THE WAY WE DO BUSINESS!

As we grow we are constantly looking to expand into other cities to spread the love of Black Businesses to other communities.

Asu Mustapher is a seasoned Small Business Administration Lender with over 7 years of SBA lending experience in the DC Metro Area. Her career started with JP Morgan Chase in 2008 as a business banker in Montclair, N.J. After obtaining her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Montclair State University in 2010, she relocated to Maryland and worked for Sun Trust Bank and PNC Bank. At PNC Bank, she lead the SBA lending activities in Maryland, Delaware, and Northern Virginia. At PNC Bank, she was responsible for sourcing and supporting Small Business Administration loan requests.

In her current role with WSFS Bank, she will continue to lead the SBA charge for the bank in the following states Maryland, Delaware, Northern Virginia, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey. WSFS Bank is a preferred lender with SBA. Asu’s expertise and knowledge of the SBA 7a and 504 Standard Operating

Procedures are a vital part of her skillset. With this expertise, she is able to vet the loan request and position the loan opportunity for the best chance of approval. Her judgement and analysis is highly regarded by the WSFS Credit Group.

Asu is a frequent contributor and speaker at the local chambers of commerce in Maryland and Delaware. Asu also supports the Small Business Development Centers around her region by offering technical assistance and business plan advice.

Asu supports minority-owned businesses and veteran owned businesses. Her passion is being able to educate people about the many financial options out there for small business owners.
