Dan Herbatschek

Dan Herbatschek is an applied mathematician and software engineering specialist who leads the Ramsey Theory Group. He focuses on creating scalable, data-driven applications using Python, JavaScript, and advanced machine learning techniques.


Dan graduated from Columbia University, Summa Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa, receiving the Lily Prize for his thesis on mathematics and artificial languages. He began his career as an Investment Consultant and Data Management Consultant in NewYork before launching Ramsey Theory Group.

His academic foundation comes from Columbia University, where he earned recognition for his thesis on mathematics, language, and time. Before creating the Ramsey Theory Group, Dan worked in NewYork as both an Investment Consultant and a Data Management Consultant.
As Founder and CEO of Ramsey Theory Group, he translates big ideas into functional technological systems, working in areas such as machine learning, Python development, and data visualization.

Dan previously worked in NewYork as an Investment Consultant and Data Management Consultant. Outside of work, he writes for his “Open Mind” blog and enjoys boxing.
