In November 1999, d’Angleterre unveiled a Christmas façade that would go down in the history books: a magnificent and sparkling winter landscape on d’Angleterre’s large balcony, featuring H.C. Andersen’s beautiful, white-clad Snow Queen riding through the icy air in her magical sleigh pulled by white unicorns.

The façade attracted attention throughout the city - and far beyond its boundaries, but it was also an inspiration for the hotel’s chef. That winter, he created The Snow Queen’s white gløgg, which later became a Christmas classic for hotel guests during the winter months.

This winter, it is possible to bring our Snow Queen’s white gløgg home, where it can be enjoyed with friends and family, or you may choose to give it as a Christmas gift.

The beautifully designed bottles of Snow Queen’s white gløgg are crafted and the contents just as magical as when the gløgg was first created in the previous millennium!
