CONSERVATION HUNTING
Hunting. It is humble, natural, and magnificent at the same time. When hunting, we become animal, and it occurs in a realm where death has a different consequence. The greatest thing hunting gifts is the ability to look past what is obvious, to value landscapes for what is not easily seen, for potential, and for the promise of surprise. We explore the marvelous reality of life and the unapologetic chances that we are not meant to fear, but to embrace bravery. One which serves a purpose of connection. More importantly; is the realisation that being part of something bigger is much more rewarding than personal interests, and often needs a slight shift in mind-set, to align important individual needs with a greater good. After all, the dessert is not always green—some of the most beautiful moments are when the land lies empty, barren, desolate, while a lone oryx moves through wide open spaces.
Plains Game Hunting Veronica and Kalakwa offers two completely different types of landscapes, luxury lodges and hunting experiences. Our forte is being able to offer fair chase conservation hunting in excess of 130,900 acres (53 000 hectares) of savannah, grassland, bushveld, koppies, mountains and dunes. These picturesque reserves offer our clients a perfect mix of the very best wild country and game Namibia has to offer, as our clients always hunt and explore both of these areas. Two completely different experiences in one safari.

The Zambezi region is one of the last remaining free-roaming areas. This ecoregion, once known as the Caprivi Strip, is a combination of open grassland and freshwater swamp. It supports an abundance of wildlife including big game species such as Elephant, Buffalo, Crocodile, Elephant, Hippo, and Leopard. However, this area also has a vast supply of plains game including Baboon, Red Lechwe, Reedbuck, Spotted Hyena, and Chapman’s Zebra. Hunting in the Zambezi is a 1014 day experience.

Wing Shooting Wing shooting is a sophisticated pastime to have a pleasant day’s sport, and not an exercise in competitive one-upmanship as to who can kill the most birds. Our experienced guides will load the shotguns and provide advice during the shoot which makes this a very enjoyable outing for the hunters. Wing shooting is the art of hitting flying targets with a shotgun and occurs on a much more instinctive level.
