Materials Used Responsibly
Material consumption represents a significant part of the overall environmental footprint, particularly in relation to resource use, circularity and climate impact. Therefore, we actively work to increase the use of recycled materials and optimise the use of different raw materials across our product ranges — including brass, stainless steel, zinc and plastics — wherever hygiene and certification requirements allow.
Recycled Brass
We continuously work to increase the proportion of recycled materials, particularly in materials where proven recycling processes already exist. For example, part of the brass used consists of recycled material, typically around 15–20% depending on product type and composition and up to 96% in selected models.
Benefits: Reduces the need for virgin raw materials and lowers CO2 emissions.
Safe Choice - Regardless of Material
All our mixers - both standard and lead-free - are approved for drinking water and meet strict Danish and European standards. Standard products contain a small amount of lead in the brass to ensure stable quality The lead content is low, fully regulated, and completely safe in use. For projects with specific health and environmental requirements, we also offer lead-free versions with less than 0.1% lead - suitable for certified buildings.
Whichever option you choose, you receive a safe, thoroughly tested, and approved product.

Function: When the lever is centred, only cold water is delivered.

Function: A subtle resistance in the lever provides tactile feedback when opened.
Benefits: Reduces water use by up to 30%. Full flow is reached by pushing past the resistance.
TOUCHLESS-TECHNOLOGY:
Function: Infrared sensors activate water flow only when needed.
Benefits: Improves hygiene by eliminating touch and saves water by flowing only when hands are under the tap.
FLOW LIMITER:
Function: Precisely controls water flow for consistent and low consumption regardless of pressure.
Benefits: Cuts water use without sacrificing comfort or pressure experience.
RUB CLEAN:
Function: Precisely controls water flow for consistent and low consumption regardless of pressure.

INSTANT TECHNOLOGY
Function: Provides instant access to boiling water directly from the tap, making daily kitchen use more efficient.
Benefits: Reduces water and energy consumption by minimising waste of both water and heating. Fast and easy access to boiling water in daily use is also achieved.
5-Year Warranty:
We offer an extended 5-year warranty against quality and functional defects, because we have confidence in the quality and durability of our products.
Spare Parts Availability: Spare parts are available for many years after the purchase of a product — up to 10 years after a product has been discontinued. This extends the product’s lifespan and reduces the need for replacement.
Long-term approach to spare parts:
If part of your product breaks during the warranty period, you can get a genuine replacement part free of charge. That way, you don’t have to replace the entire tap - just the bit that needs fixing.

All products are developed by our engineers in Odense and qualitytested in our own laboratory. We do not only test according to current standards but consistently set higher requirements.
In-House Quality Assurance
We perform:
Wear testing
Over 20,000 cycles simulate years of daily use (One cycle equals one cloth wipe).
Corrosion testing
Exposure to a mixture of salt, acetic acid, and copper(II) chloride tests the material’s resistance to corrosion.
Sandfall Test
The surfaces are exposed to falling sand to simulate extreme impacts and ensure resistance to scratches and wear
Functional Test of Vital Components
All key parts are tested according to applicable EN standards – and often beyond the requirements.
Cartridge: Tested to a minimum of 70,000 cycles (EN817).
Shut-off: Tested to a minimum of 200,000 cycles (EN200 and EN1111).
Tests are performed at 65 °C in accordance with the standards (EN200, EN817, and EN1111).
Built to Last
Damixa products are built to withstand daily use for years.
Surface Technologies
Chrome plating - Protects against corrosion and limescale. Tested to withstand over 50,000 touches without visible wear.
PVD coating - A high-tech finish that’s just as durable and resistant to scratches and corrosion as traditional chrome.
Lacquer finish - A matte surface that retains colour and texture, is easy to clean, and reduces visible fingerprints.

Damixa works systematically to reduce environmental impact across the supply chain - from water reuse and packaging optimisation to smarter logistics and resource recycling.
Water Reuse - Every Drop Counts
In our laboratory in Odense, we purify and reuse test water in a closed circuit. This saves resources and minimises waste, and we continuously work to reduce the total amount of water used in the testing processes.
Optimised transport – less impact, more efficiency
We optimise packaging sizes and repack at our warehouse in Odense, so fewer goods take up less space during transport — allowing more products per pallet and reducing transport volume. By packing smarter, we reduce waste, lower CO2 emissions and improve logistics efficiency. When possible, we choose sea freight, one of the most energyefficient transport methods, enabling larger volumes to be shipped with lower environmental impact.
Digital Manuals - Less Paper, More Value
QR codes on Core series provide direct access to digital manuals, cutting down paper use.
Recyclable Packaging: Only recyclable cardboard is used, with minimal plastic.
Easy Recycling: Packaging designed to minimise waste.
Cardboard Shredder: Used packaging is reused as filler.
DGNB - Certification
DGNB is a voluntary certification system used to measure, promote, and collaborate on sustainability across the built environment.
Documented Responsibility
Damixa actively pursues certifications and approvals to document product and process quality and responsibility.
We follow approvals from RISE, SINTEF, and other relevant institutes to ensure that our products comply with current standards and legal requirements. We also prepare for upcoming stricter regulations, including the Drinking Water Directive, to be able to deliver products that always meet new requirements.

Audits and Responsible Production
We conduct annual internal audits combined with external audits carried out by SGS once a year. This ensures that both production and the supply chain meet our established standards. Audits cover the entire value chain, from development and manufacturing to packaging and distribution.
Supply Chain Transparency
We are actively working to increase openness in our supply chain. A roadmap for full transparency and more detailed documentation will be presented in the next version of our materials.
Certification Level
According to data from FMM Mattsson Group, our current certification level is bronze. We continuously work to strengthen both environmental and quality standards.
Environmental Data and Production
EPD data may vary depending on the energy source and production conditions. We continuously work with the use of green electricity and optimization of production processes.

Damixa Games Fund
A grant supporting fitness, community, and well-being initiatives among staff and in local communities. We support sports, health projects, and local events.
Example: This year, DKK 15,000 from the Damixa Games Fund went to Sanderum Riding Club, which needed hobby horses for their popular children’s and youth activities. With this support, the club can now expand its offerings and enable more children to participate.
