Intimate Gardens These gardens are standing room only; no chairs are provided. The rental period is one hour, and all setup and cleanup must be completed within that timeframe. Admission is included for all of your guests up to the garden capacity. Bridal suites and changing rooms are not included with intimate garden rentals, so please arrive dressed and ready to say “I do”. To set up a self guided tour of our ceremony gardens, please contact your wedding sales manager. To book an Intimate Ceremony Garden you will pay the rental fee and sign a contract.

The England Family Garden can host up to 20 guests. It is available to rent seven days a week, yearround, at 9am, 10am, 11am, 12pm, 1pm, 2pm or 3pm, for a one hour rental. THE PULPIT
The Pulpit can host up to 10 guests. It is available to rent seven days a week, year-round, at 9am for a one hour rental. The Pulpit is closed for rentals until mid May 2026. Rental Rates: Peak season (March, April, May, October, November, December): $800 Off-peak season (January, February, June, July, August, September): $700
Classic Gardens Included with the rental is admission for all of your guests, white garden chairs and one table for a guest book. A linen is not included. The rental period is two hours, and all setup and cleanup must be completed within that timeframe. To book a Classic Ceremony Garden you will sign a contract, pay the rental fee, and pay a refundable deposit that is held for damages and returned after the wedding.

Karen’s Gazebo can host up to 28 guests. It is available to rent seven days a week, year-round, from 9am-11am, 12pm-2pm or from 3pm-5pm, for a two hour rental. LOWER MEADOW
Lower Meadow can host up to 120 guests. It is available to rent seven days a week, year-round, Sunday through Friday from 11am-1pm or 2pm-4pm and Saturday 9am-11am or 12pm-2pm, for a two hour rental. Lower Meadow is closed for rentals until October of 2026. PECAN PARTERRE
Pecan Parterre can host up to 100 guests. It is available to rent seven days a week, year-round, from 9am-11am and Sunday-Wednesday, year-round, from 4:30pm-6:30pm for a two hour rental. Details, Beautifully Explained INCLUSIONS AND AMMENITIES Exclusive access to your ceremony garden for the duration of your rental: Intimate Ceremony Gardens: 1 hour Classic & Grand Ceremony Gardens: 2 hours Please note that all vendor setup and breakdown must take place within your reserved rental time. One guest book or welcome table of your choice. Linens are required and may be rented through your chosen rental company. White garden chairs are included for ceremonies held in our Classic Ceremony Gardens and Grand Ceremony Gardens. An Arboretum Event Facilitator will be onsite throughout your rental period to oversee vendor load-in and load-out, as well as maintain the privacy and integrity of your ceremony space. While our Event Facilitators are an important part of your wedding day, they do not provide wedding planning or coordination services. To ensure a seamless celebration, we highly recommend hiring a professional wedding planner. Complimentary admission to the Dallas Arboretum for all wedding guests and vendors on the day of your event. Vendor attendance does not count toward your contracted guest count.
ENHANCEMENTS AND ADDITIONS Parking is not included in the venue rental. Guests are responsible for the daily parking fee and will pay per vehicle upon arrival. Outdoor Lighting: Depending on the time of year, ceremonies held in our Grand Ceremony Gardens during evening hours may require supplemental outdoor lighting. If needed, lighting is an additional expense and must be arranged through our exclusive lighting partner Big D Party Rentals. Payment Information: As a nonprofit organization, the Dallas Arboretum does not charge sales tax or service fees. A 3% convenience fee applies to all credit card payments. Events extending beyond the contracted rental period will incur an overtime fee beginning at $200, with the final amount based on the additional staffing and operational requirements. The clients will be asked to leave at the conclusion of the rental period.
GARDEN CELEBRATION GUIDELINES In accordance with the City of Dallas noise ordinance, amplified music, including DJs and live bands, is not permitted during daytime ceremonies. Acoustic string musicians are welcome, and a small Bluetooth speaker may be used for your processional and recessional music, provided the volume does not exceed 55 decibels. Vendors may access the ceremony garden only during your contracted rental period and must provide their own carts for loading and unloading equipment. Golf carts are not available to transport the client or guests. Complimentary wheelchairs are available on a first-come, first-served basis at the Main Entry Information Booth for guests requiring mobility assistance. To protect the beauty and safety of the gardens, the Dallas Arboretum is a no open flame property. Smoking, fireworks, sparklers, candles with an open flame, and other flameproducing items are not permitted. Battery-operated (LED) candles are welcome. To preserve the gardens, the following items are not permitted: tacks, staples, tape, awnings, gazebos, balloons, birdseed, rice, confetti, loose streamers, and artificial rose petals. If you choose to use rose petals, they must be fresh, natural petals in white or ivory only. All petals must be removed following the ceremony. A $250 cleaning fee will be assessed if cleanup is required. Per City of Dallas regulations, changing clothing in the public restrooms is not permitted. We kindly ask that all members of the wedding party arrive dressed and ready for the ceremony.
ALWAYS BEAUTIFUL, RAIN OR SHINE The Dallas Arboretum is an outdoor venue, and ceremony rentals do not include a guaranteed indoor or covered rain backup location. We encourage couples to have a weather contingency plan in place, such as providing umbrellas for guests or arranging an alternate off-site ceremony location. If an indoor or covered space is available on your wedding day, we may be able to accommodate your ceremony; however, availability cannot be guaranteed and is subject to the Arboretum's event schedule and operational needs. Should you choose to postpone your ceremony due to inclement weather, we are pleased to offer one complimentary date change, subject to garden availability. Your rescheduled ceremony location and date will be based on availability at the time of rebooking.
CELBRATIONS DURING FESTIVAL SEASON Autumn Pumpkins (Mid-September – November 1): Thousands of pumpkins, gourds, and seasonal displays are featured throughout select areas of the garden. Whenever possible, we position these displays in the main public spaces and away from our ceremony locations. Holiday at the Arboretum (Mid-November – Early January): The gardens are transformed with festive holiday décor, including seasonal displays, Christmas villages, and twinkling lights throughout the property. Dallas Blooms (Late February – Early April): Experience one of the largest floral festivals in the Southwest, featuring hundreds of thousands of blooming tulips, daffodils, and vibrant spring flowers throughout the gardens. Seasonal Art Exhibitions (April – September): During the spring and summer months, the Arboretum showcases outdoor art installations throughout the gardens. These exhibits are an integral part of the guest experience and may not be moved, covered, or altered.
CELEBRATIONS DURING PUBLIC HOURS The Dallas Arboretum is a public garden, and while your garden will function as a private event space, the Arboretum reserves the right to remain open to the public during your contracted event. All areas included in your rental agreement will be clearly designated as private and secured with stanchions or other appropriate barriers. Public access will be restricted from these reserved spaces, and our team will make every effort to preserve the privacy, atmosphere, and integrity of your event. We are committed to providing you and your guests with an exceptional experience while maintaining the beauty and accessibility of the gardens for all visitors.
BOOKING YOUR CELEBRATION Once you're ready to reserve your wedding date and ceremony garden, we'll collect a few details to prepare your contract. After the contract has been drafted, it will be sent to you for review and electronic signature. To officially secure your reservation, we require: a signed contract and payment of the full venue rental fee Payments may be made by credit card, check, or cash. Please note that a 3% convenience fee applies to all credit card transactions. Your date and venue are considered confirmed once both the signed contract and full rental payment have been received.
